Everyone has their idea of what constitutes banter & friendly rivalry .. unfortunately , being an international site, some comments get lost in translation.
You've been here 2 minutes and suddenly you know everything about everyone. Learn to keep you nose out of other people's business if you want to survive on the forums , or you'll make more enemies than friends!
Sometimes I question people's motives when they are too kind . I've always been an honest & upfront type of guy. It's not the popular ploy to make countless pretentious friends & people don't talk to me as a result but the select few I do interact with me, are sure worth knowing .
Are we here to massage your fragile egos.. has the forums become a "mothers support group" for the unsociable & lonely, or is it a place where you can have your say & opinion, whiteout being criticised ,however controversial the comment may be? Let's not take the fun out of the forums & enjoy some banter!
Mike has always been popular with the cs ladies. The fact that he never gets replies is purely done to the fact that women are intimidated by his "god like" hansome good looks & charms.
I can never be accused of that ! My popularity has risen, over the 2 years or so that I've been participating on the forums & have accumulated Over 1 friends in that time.
I remember a few years back, I went on a date witb a nice lady ! Everything was hunky dorey and thought nothing when she stepped outside to receive a phone call. After about 10 minutes, I got a little worried but didn't panic. 20 minutes later & no sign, 30 minutes became 40, which became an hour ! The fact that she left her coat & personal belongings in my care, prompt me to call the police to report a missing person. After an hour long investigation, I received a call from the police saying , "the person in question met her ex boyfriend & someone from the police station will pick up her belongings within an hour.
Lesson to be learnt.. "never date a person on the rebound"
Boil seasoned water in a medium/ large saucepan, add chopped leaks, then gently simmer for about as much time as it takes to attend the sheep 5/7 minutes. Perfect results every time, unless the wife spots your flies undone!
