If it's something that requires an effort to keep it going, then why do people believe it's something that "just happens" in the first place?
It's all in your head, and it's more often whether you're receptive to this "spark" or "chemistry" than it is whether there is anything of the dort to begin with. If you're not in the right frame of mind, it'll never happen, and if you are, you might be surprised who it can happen with.
After reading countless threads and posts on this subject, I feel it's more of an attitude and recpetiveness issue, and of preconceived notions, than it is one of any freak phenomena.
Some people are of the opinion that the "graven images" quote in the Bible would include tattoos as well as any carved idols, gold statues, or even a Led Zeppelin poster.
To me it sounds more like you're scared of the "what if's" than anything. If you're enjoying yourself, let it run it's course, never know, it might not end for 50 years.
I had something similar once, and it was the best "relationship" I've ever had, although there was no controlling, or taking advantage of anyone. Maybe that's just how you perceive it to be, it might not be the case at all.
Oh no, hardly the same conversations with each of them, except commentary on the current weather conditions. It's a polite Canadian thing I guess, talking about the weather.
I like chatting with all of them, and for different reasons, as they're all unique individuals, with their own thoughts, likes, and input on varied topics.
