its disgraceful how some 'charities' operate. i know somebody that had to stop a direct debit to a charity as she couldnt afford it anymore. she got fairly threatening phone calls, emails and letters over the matter. disgraceful but we cant tar them all with the same brush. theres many great charities out there. all under severe pressure though.

my thoughts are with you and your country men during this difficult time. life must be very difficult there at the moment but there are many people worldwide behind you guys and thinking of you. best of luck for the future.
ah its all a game folks whereby all of us are a pawn in it. the banks are screwing us all. diabolical how the people of greece are being treated in all this. my thoughts are with them all.
totally agree. the treatment of the ordinary person by our politicians is disgraceful. my thoughts are with the folks of greece right now. difficult times
damned if they do, damned if they dont im afraid. austerity isnt working in ireland anyway. feel sorry for the folks in greece. best of luck to them all. its time to go back to the drawing board in regards global economic policies. none of it is currently working. debt is not the solution to our problems but in fact the creator of most of them. wakey wakey world!
ah yes the irish delusion of weather temperatures. reality check, it ll be a pleasant week of 20 odd degrees in most places. very few if any places in ireland will hit the 30 mark. this aint spain. ireland needs to get over itself regarding this issue and other delusional weather related issues.
yea it looks like a similar problem exists in ireland to. i know a retired parole officer. he has informed me that irelands rehabilitation rate for criminals is about 40%. it seems like hes impressed with this figure but i feel theres something really wrong with it. going by this, 60% reoffend. hmmm not good in my world. he said the system fails when criminals are released as they have little or no support thereafter, therefore most fall back into the worlds they existed in before jail. he also said some criminals just cant be rehabilitated no matter what money or resources you throw at them. its a complicated problem and it looks like no country has truly learned how to deal with it properly. we obviously need to protect ourselves from criminals but we need to learn how to truly deal with this problem
seems a bit early alright. i worry though when people say, let criminals stew in jail. everything should be done to help criminals rehabilitate while in jail as i feel if that process does not happen, there may be a high chance of them committing further crimes on release maybe even worse crimes.
i think i agree with this. starting to get worried now with the likes of bush and trump getting involved. the american presidency is a very very important job from a global perspective.
ah id both agree and disagree with you on the rich thing. i do feel most of us dont have the opportunities that the rich have on this planet but life is what you make of it. its mainly up to you to create the opportunities for you and of course theres also a bit of luck and what not.
ah the flying lesson was amazing but i have to park it for a while.
no worries. foam rolling is very relaxing to. just check in with your doc and health professionals before pursuing with it as it may not suit you and your injuries but i do think you ll be fine with it.
if you have to take painkillers, so be it. dont live in pain but realise pain killers generally aint a solution to your injuries. you have to be proactive with injuries but careful on approach. best of luck with it
RE: Collections for charity
transparency has been on my mind all day. i really wish our political system worked that way
