Thanks Kevin but I'm not going anywhere, it's Cloud who is departing temporarily and good luck to him. I'm sure we will all await his return and the stories he will have to tell (real or imaginary). If he'd be the somewhat funny and entertaining fellow he can be then I have no problem with his posts but sometimes we fall into that intolerable area he can display and it gets my fur up. After finding my lady right here on CS, I stay around and participate in the forums and blogs. The multitude of card games and other games is entertaining as well. There really are some terrific people here and I enjoy the comradery. Best of luck to all.

Cloud and I haven't really gotten along since his arrival here and it's because I see through his illusions (or delusions depending on your point of view). I admit he has had some interesting thread topics and isn't always dislikeable but then his true self shows up and it's more than I can bear. I don't believe he lives in Winnipeg or is a pilot (commercial no, private maybe) and his command of the English language has me believing he is based in Europe but not Canada. What does it matter, he has every right to be here and post what he will but I have the right to my reactions to them. As a rule I try and live and let live but some days I'm not too good at controling my sarcastic sense of humour. He certainly stirs the pot and does add to the entertainment of us all so maybe I shouldn't be so nasty to him. But then again

Just curious here but why are you on a dating site when you are in a relationship. I am in one also but met her through CS and she is fully aware of my participation on the forums and blogs. As has been suggested already...you need to talk to her about your concerns as a breach of trust is the end of a relationship imo.

Our friend Cloud posted a thread saying goodbye temporarily as he jets off on some imaginary humanitarian endevour and I simply posted a little set of emoticons to wish him goodbye...and got banned for my sentiment

As I wasn't finished bidding him adieu I thought I would finish my adios on my own thread (which I would never ban him from). I really do hope he has a safe flight and makes his way back here to all of his friends

Yes it can be hard but perservere and enjoy the new friends that you meet along the way. I have met several great people and dated a few over the past 5 years. Two years ago I met and now share a wonderful life with my lady (from CS) so yes it can and do happen. Best of luck but enjoy the ride anyway.
