Theres a good article in it by author and financial guru Farahed Sama about how we have become complacent in saving money and have forgotten the ways of thrift over long years of prosperity....anyway at the end of his article he adds....
"When I was a boy in India, a neighbour was diagnosed with cancer. Despite pleading by family and friends, he refused treatment except palliative care, arguing he was going to die anyway and treatment would drain all their savings and leave his wife and young kids destitute. He died a few months later, but his kids finished school. Compared to that, the credit crunch is a doddle".
Should be a lesson in that somewhere for all of us methinks....
I am fighting my way through a Cecilia Ahern book at the moment its pretty awful....I either love or loathe her books, some of her books I cant put down and others I struggle to finish....cant make my mind up about her.
Yeah at first when I started working late shifts I hated them but now Im so used to them I actully quite enjoy it....and I never work weekends so thats brilliant......anyway must go...I need food lol...catch you later.....
Well I dont get much time off over Christmas either due to my work...I work at Glasgow Airport...but as long as I get Christmas Day off Im quite happy..... oh and a late start on Boxing Day is required also..... I need some time to recover after boozing in front of the telly the night before!!
I will visit my Mum and Dad in the morning with the gifts and then I will spend the rest of the day at home with the family....my ex will be coming for his dinner and to see the kids....all very civilised. Then I will get pissed in front of the tv later on!!! Happy Days!!
Well I went to see it last week with my two sons......and we loved it!! Maybe not as good as Casino Royale but still worth seeing. Daniel Craig IS James Bond...... what more can I say??
