I fix things for the 93-year old next door. I like doing things for others (as insincere a plug as that sounds, but oh well).
But doing something, anything, for the woman you love - that's another thing. It's not about points, it's rewarding on a completely different level. It makes both your days.
I've said it before in a similar thread, have had a job a LONG time, retirement (a ways down the road, thank you very much), pension, relative security, etc.
Then again, I keep telling myself my life needs a change, perhaps even a big change. Is this a midlife crisis?
I echo the sentiments of the esteemed gentlemen above me. Unless someone wants to publish a rule book. Then again, I am not sure I would want to fumble through something that resembles "War and Peace" in length.
