Gossip is a huge turn off. There is a difference between legit hearing about something or someone, and going out of your way to find out what you can and spread gossip and rumors.
I'll talk to and debate someone with a different opinion from mine all day with a smile and respect, and at the end of the day, sit down, have a drink with them and have a good laugh at it all. When someone starts getting aggressive, loud, and bullish, I'm done, I walk away. Even if they are right, they automatically lose any standing they had with me.
No joke, it started within the week after he died. I go spurts of it. Will see it often for a while, then maybe a short while without seeing it, then start seeing it again.
