RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

no
Though Israel, the West Bank and Southern Lebanon appear to be sticking to the Non Violence agreement Ehud Olmert negotiated, which is good
However long as people engage in violence will create more violence not something else, and me thinks China isn't helping to develop peace in the region...

RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

a change in Syria leads to a Sunni dominated government which would probably go a long way towards dividing the region almost back to the status the POME put in place after WW1. The roll Iraq sort of played containing the Shi'ite, particularly block Iran from as easy access to Lebanon... Undo what the lunatic Bush's did, also contain now Shi'ite governed Iraq, take pressure of Jordan to...

RE: Who do you think it is?

bit like abbott
TONY Abbott fled from the Parliamentary chamber this morning when Craig Thomson crossed the floor to vote with the Coalition on a motion to continue debate over the Government's plan to raise the debt ceiling.

Mr Abbott appeared horrified when Mr Thomson joined other Independents to vote against a gag motion by the Government to shut down debate.

The Opposition leader leapt from his chair and tried to run from the chamber, to negate Mr Thomson’s vote.

However, he found himself trapped when the speaker had locked the door. Mr Abbott began banging on the door before they were unlocked, allowing him to leave the chamber.

RE: CYBER CRIMES

Be better if you arranged a PayPal account, that way you are not giving out your credit card details, so that sort of activity can't happen. If doesn't cost you anything to buy items with, no charge only charge is paid by the seller

RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

IRAN and other Middle East countries have been hit with a cunning computer virus that can eavesdrop on computer users and their co-workers.

RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

We don't need to look far, Bush Howard, Blair, Abbott and Co all supporting the same crap.

If they want peace and lasting happiness then all Muslim, Christian, Hindu and Jews must first embrace a path of non violence. Until they do that will be just more of the same same until they do

RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

oh they seem to manage on there own, Syria appears to be teaching love thy neighbor in a really strange fashion, but i suppose aren't nothing you or I can do, so might just as well watch it all play out in case it brings meaning to there lives some-how

RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

with modem communications it's actually a very good opportunity we all have to study the true nature of there teachings

RE: is the arab racejust a race of uncivilized morons?

they do seem to suffer emontional problems quite a lot, if they all choose to stop the killing and the other quite odd behavioral traits, perhaps the cycle of constant suffering would disappear. But shan't be holding my breath waiting for that

RE: Just for Gina- because she deserves it!

i went to sunday school and bible class to, then hit the frog and toad after Nam, looked about here and there most looking what others in other places were into, watched Hindu in Nepal chopping buffalo heads off with one swipe, saw streets running in chicken blood, read a number of versions of the bible and made conscientious decision to have further to do with any of that.
Got pissed and stoned with a Tibetan guy in Darjeeling and later Kathmandu then again in Darjeeling, never disused his belief or anything like that, but saw lot of Monks, nearly died in Bombay and two or three Israeli guys kept me alive.
On coming to Australia 1982 i met a guy named Karma, we picked peaches together in Cobram, later re-met him, which i thought just chance, in Nambour, then spent couple weeks staying with Karma at Chenrezig Institute at Eudlo a Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist teaching and retreat centre nestled in the foothills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland
< >
Later spent quite a lot of time studying there which didn't do my head any harm, then went on to assist development of a learning centre near Taree, Killabakh, NSW

RE: Just for Gina- because she deserves it!

Its possible to say mantra and obtain enlightenment but think Kenndy's were active Catholics and didn't change nothing, because our nature is moving energy and therefore the energy associated to grand daddy was and for as long as it last likely will produce more negativity.

Just stilling the mind (though good) isn't touching on the subjects outcome i referred to

RE: Is there anything more painful than unrequited love?

Unconditional loving kindness doesn't include hidden expectations.
Perhaps your heartfelt feelings towards the lady you desired included an expectation your feelings would be reciprocated? I don't think your describing feelings of loving kindness, rather its my feeling your feelings included an expectation and therefore a rejection of anything other continued friendship.

RE: Just for Gina- because she deserves it!

If at arms length we observe our activities, after studying Lam Rim while at arms length the observer, then its possible to obtain some insight into our own harmful negative activities. The activities of our body speech and mind create our tomorrow experience, by ceasing all negative karma causing rebirth we cease cause for suffering rebirths. Benefiting others is the path for all inspiring would be if could be Buddha's known as the Sanga, those travelling the path explained in twenty seven words by the Buddha...

RE: Just for Gina- because she deserves it!

Guess so, the Kennedy's in the States, grand daddy built his fortune during Prohibition shipping grog from Canada into the US

Karmas are certain, once the seeds have been sown they are certain, most people are disbelieving, got there heads in the sand, whatever however the as you sow shall you reap is certain for all of us.

Kenndey's haven't had lot of luck have they?

RE: Just for Gina- because she deserves it!

yeah blood money
As a child, Hancock showed a keen interest in mining and prospecting and discovered asbestos at Wittenoom Gorge at the age of ten.
He staked a claim at Wittenoom in 1934 and began mining blue asbestos there in 1938 with the company Australian Blue Asbestos.
The mine attracted the attention of national behemoths CSR Limited, who purchased the claim in 1943. Hancock retained a 49% share after the sale, but appears to have become quickly disillusioned about this arrangement, complaining that CSR viewed their 51% share as a licence to ignore his views. He sold the remainder of his claim in 1948. The mine would later become the source of much controversy, when hundreds of cases of asbestos-related diseases came to light.
Blue asbestos is possibly 100 times more hazardous than white asbestos, as the fibres are much smaller (around 2.5 to 10 micrometres). The inhalation of asbestos results in illness and in most cases death, due to asbestosis, mesothelioma (of which asbestos is the only known cause) and other lung diseases. This aetiology was described, reported and explained to the management of ABA as well as being the subject of many medical journal articles.

RE: The Spirit Stone (An Adventure Story)

Once upon a time a young boy Eddie lived in a small village by the sea called Palm. An adventures boy, he enjoyed exploring and imagining all sorts of things as boys often do.
Sometimes Eddie's antics would get him into mischief. His best friend Lzzy was a little younger, neither cared about age differences as they had grown up together.
