Ruptured achilles tendon and torn calf muscle. Happened on Christmas Eve, dancing on the beach would you believe. Just strapped it up and got on with the holiday, camping, walking, kayaking etc. Didn't find out the extent of the damage till i went to the hospital yesterday after i got home.
I'm not too good at sitting around, but i'll have to get used to it for a while.
Just back from holiday to find out a friend has been murdered in a most brutal way. A very gentle and kind man he was, this can be a cruel world indeed.
Right now i'm exhausted, but its been a wild couple of weeks camping in the desert and on various beaches. Nice to be back in the land of showers and toilets though.
