People sometimes like to build up and tear down people for the feeling of control over others. It is really an effort on their part to feel better about themselves.
In life there are predators and prey. Does a lamb do anything to make a Tiger attack. Nope! Does a Tiger look for the most vulnerable and innocent to attack. Yep!
There are many sweet ladies here that have been used and been prey for Tigers. Now forget the matter if you can, you are not to blame for being a sweet and caring lady. Move on and find a Ram that will truly value you.
Any good magician can fool anyone here. It is the same for any well practiced lier. Don't feel bad about being fooled it is their fault after all. There are Con men on all levels. They confidence the person that is the target. To often they over sell themselves or the situation. The old saying of too good to be true counts in these situations. Make all your actions be in accordance to pure facts that you know. You must test for other facts and draw out any actions that are not in accordance with their words or past actions that may be a pretence.
But it is just like being a fast draw with a gun, there is always someone faster. No matter how alert you are, you will be taken by someone sometime. Don't shoot someone out of the saddle too quick though, he may be the guy thats does fall head over heels for you and be true as can be. Don't act too quick in both cases.
