Were the months of love letters just convenient lies? Probably. But why go on lying? Maybe as they cannot face their duplicity? The fact that they are just users?
Being Jewish does no excuse using a lady as a doormat. His use of Exotic cultural and quasi religious arguments just confirms his nature as a Control Freak. You are far better off without him.

Very true. Thanks. Someone who needs to be possessive, even of your past, is deeply insecure. Maybe I have the 'Love them enough and they will be OK' idea. Very silly when you look at it objectively. Sounds like this man is a Control Freak? Must be very insecure. Taking him back 6 times after he cheated on you is 5 times too many. Dump him and find a man that respects you and shares your values. A lovely lady like you should not be bullied. Noone should be!
I left a rose on my wifes pillow every so often. Left poems or Love notes in her bag, to find at work. Cooked candelit meals....as a surprise... When she cheated she said it was all boring? And the Venice holiday for our Anniversary? I put the tickets in her card? At the time she cried happily. Later it was a smelly dump! Women eh??????
