Hi. I am a fun hating insensitive dishonest person. Old for my age and hate the idea of new experiences. Have no desire to travel anywhere. Find cosy log fires make your eyes water and a nice bottle of wine is usually cheap rubbish. I would only walk on a moonlit beach if shipwrecked. My photos are recent, its just that I prefer the 1970s. I have no sense of humour and would be much happier in someone elses skin rather than my own. My dog, a Dwarf Bolzoi, is my least loved thing apart from my horrible brattish grandchilden. Pics of me with them involved many bribes. And retakes. Sent the horse to a Glue Factory. At least it is now useful holding furniture together. I eat unhealthily always and thought meditation was alternative health care. I have more baggage than Mexicans travelling on a bus. though like Mexicans as they ignore you so nicely. I am only on site for the Forums as no sane person will ever contact me. If they did Id ignore them. The 23 yr old fom Brazil who loved my picture is an exception. Trying to raise the 5000 dollars for her University fees. So at least honest? I also use lots of Emoticons as words are misinterpreted. The pics of lovely sunsets rather than my ugly face are to show what a meaningful person I am. So take off that straitjacket and contact me?
Many experiences. Still amazed by the most recent. I live alone in rural France. Developed severe headaches and became very ill. Finally sent for help via the British Consulate. 2 Gendarmes turned up. And did what they do ie. look Cool and bored. When the ambulance came the para medics said just to take aspirin and let them go home. But one cop was not happy and insisted I be seen by a doctor who came soon after. He asked had I had head injuries lately and I remembered slipping and smacking my head on the stone kitchen floor several weeks previously. At the time thought a nasty bump coming. Next I knew I was in the ambulance and rushed to hospital. Emergency surgery to remove blood clots on the brain. If it hadnt been for the Gendarme I would be dead. Angels can come in many guises. Never would have imagined one dressed as a cop.
Im not sure these people are playing but if they are its a measure of how inadequate they are? It is too easy to feel close to someone Online. I had exchanged daily, long and very deep messages with a lady from Dublin. When I said I would fly over to meet her? Vanished! It then makes you feel very stupid for trusting. Being discarded hurts but better to trust and try than adopt a siege mentality? Fortunately pain passes. Remind yourself that you are a good person and it is the saddoes who are the shabby ones. Why do some people use Pics for Profiles that have no relationship to their appearance? A beautiful sunset or a tiger or a flower. Are they being subtle and I am missing the point. If so I prefer a This is me approach. Do others find this frustrating? I hope to date a zoman not a Tiger! lol
I was contacted by a woman supposedly living in France. Very keen. In fact was living with a man in the UK. Seeems he had bailed her out financially from France but she was fed up with the domestic routines. Wanted another man to reverse the move. Any woman willing to use men like that should be avoided. As to your friend let him meet her then see what happens! Though I think the EX bf needs to be an EX before she moves on.
Agree totally! Tolerance and understanding. Key to communicating. I do think the point I was trying to make got lost? My fault for not being specific. I had no intention of criticising other cultures or languages. I think Education means bringing out not putting in. Does not matter which school or University you went to. I know this is probably sad and perhaps a bit snobby but when writing a Profile should people check the spellings? They have the time to. OK in Forum chats to just type away but in posting your personality etc? One lady is A Clark in a Bank? Another enjoys Horse Ridding. If you Carnt be bothered it says a bit abowat U ? Perhapps my Teecher backgrowned to blamm?
There are Female equivalents. In all cateories. Thing that still bothers me is the Gentleman idea? When you are women think you are closet gay. Or cold? Or being controlling by opening a door? I respect too much perhaps. Polite and restrained does not mean not interested. It means I value you.As a person first. Then as a woman. I really am a dinosaur.
