Gotcha, to be honest, I really only post in this or the religious forums when I see something that interesting, have something interesting to add, or see a post so blatantly blinded it is devoid of thought and hurts my soul to even read it
However, I think some come here to actually "change the world"
Has anyone of these threads ever changed even one person's view on anything?
Just curious, I even get caught up in these things from time to time, just wonder if they actually have any impact at all other than people getting what is on their mind off their chest
Well, it depends on what she likes, if she liked seafood I would make my scallop and rockfish lasagna. It sounds weird, but is awesome, anyone who like fish and seafood would love it. I have a couple "impress the pants off of her" recipes lol
Unconditional love is unhealthy. It is simple, look at the words and it tell you exactly what it means. I see people here twisting it into something they want it to mean. Unconditional = without condition, love = love, therefore Unconditional love = love without condition. Hell, even the loyalty of a dog will go away if you ht it enough times. People say they love their kids and spouses unconditionally, but it really is a fluff word and truly loving someone without condition is probably impossible. How many times has a baby been born or people been married that said they had unconditional love and ended up years later in divorce or the parent and child never speaking to them again. That is because their love had conditions, and those conditions had been crossed.
The term is also used in religion. I find that even funnier. God loves you unconditionally, yet he will send you to hell and punish you eternally if you don't follow his conditions
Are you familiar with Plato's cave? That is how truth is received. The country (USA) is mostly divided into 3 groups, the American idol drones (people too distracted to look into things) and the left and the right, so politically biased they can only see flaws in the other party but too close to the forest to see the trees in their own. In all cases, it allows the government to pull what it pulls. As an entrepreneur going into a competitive and somewhat dominated market, I see how things really work and owe it to myself not to fall into the trappings, and see just how much liberty and justice is limited here. The problem is that people don't seek those things anymore, they seek a job with decent pay and a means to keep their distractions going. Add a short attention span, and the government pretty much gets away with everything
Yeah, still doing the school thing. Have one year left and it is time to launch the brewery. Been making some great contacts here too, so things are pretty great right now. How about you?
Not sure, I am sure those you listed are funny. There are some hilarious Brits out there.......and speaking, can you please take Russel Brand back?....pretty please...we already have Dane Cook, that is torture enough
Wow.....I am shocked, this thread has barely made one page and showed more intelligence than damn near any I have seen in the current events forum. Both the left and the right are goons to lobbyists. All of them who have taken the financial backing to get to the level they are at. They do not have their party's rhetoric and crap they spew at their central focus.
If you are either on the left or the right, remember, in recent history your party had the house, senate and the presidency, and what the hell did they really accomplish in the name sake of what they say they stand for? Not a whole lot.
