I was involved with a relationship where this very situation occurred. Although we both cared for each other deeply, and in most respects the relationship was healthy…. I knew that long term, things would not work out, and I made those feelings known. My wish, was that we could remain devoted friends and that long term that friendship would remain – as the relationship started with a close friendship. I knew there was the risk of losing her presence forever in my life, but knew that I had no other choice. Unfortunately, things have not worked out as I had wished, and truthfully, it hurts like hell. You need to be prepared to accept and deal with the possible loss of a friendship……
Would have to say, that despite the good, the bad and ugly - I would'nt change a second of it. I would'nt be the person I am today if not for that "tape".......
However, I have learned to change the camera angle a bit for the future......
