forgot I am free this weekend and if you are going to move we can go be B.C. it is nice there, very little snow, and cold weather. When I lived there I had roses from my rose bush on the table for Christmas Day.
Sometimes moving and starting over is the right thing to do as long as you are not running away from problems then it will not work as your problems always have a way of catching up and following you.
For a new job it will likely be good for you, give you a new purpose and a change to get out out of an old rut.
Sorry I did not know there was no longer a draft. Since you sign up and want to be in the Military and you know that is what the Military is to protect the country then if a war breaks out you are expected to go.
When my dad was in Germany it was on a peace keeping mission but if war did break out he was expected to take part that is why they had constant drills that sometimes would turn into full war games. I remember hearing the sirens in the night and then men banging on the door to pick him up with no idea when he was going to be back.
The Military is like any job if after your time is up it is alright to leave if you do not like what you are doing.
In Canada we are not forced to enter into the Military. My Dad was in the Military all his life until he retired, and he did refuse to go on certain postings, but if you agree to go then you sould finish what you started.
In the states I have noticed you are drafted and do not have the right to say no. If I had to do something that I totaly disagreed with and the only option I had was leaving then I likely would.
