Ah ha, laughed when I read this!

As for forcing a cat to tolerate a person, I've found that its rarely the case, so I think that any person who has a cat adopt them is indeed special.

For me I think fall is romantic ... its always been one of my favorite seasons for the array of glorious colours, the crispness of the air, by the allure of a warm fireplace when you get back home. Colder weather I think also inspires more cuddling!!

My heart goes out to you for indeed its sad when a family interfers in one's life.

I understand the concept of wanting the best for family members, but when their actions interfer in the "happiness" that someone has found for themselves, then I think that an individual has to come to the point in deciding are they going to live their life for their happiness or continue to try to please others.

You can continue to "hope" but also remember that life is indeed passing you by as well in the meantime ... sometimes we simply need to move on as the other cannot or won't make a decision.

I remember you saying long ago that "hey someone noticed me" and you seemed surprised at that ..... truly I think that you shouldn't have been. May you be blessed in all those interactions that you take for granted but for others mean something as well.

I'll let you know when I experience -40 below for the first time this winter .... thats if and when my fingers actually thaw out! Truly though, now sure how extreme the weather will be here in Alberta as B.C. used to get to just below freezing where I lived before.

I've had a number of interesting conversations with "faceless" people and in fact am now engaged to one such person. If I'd have made the asumption that he was not worthy of interacting with, I would have missed out on getting to know a wonderful person.

Personally to me it matters not and I've learned over time that my "initial response" of being attracted to someone is sometimes wrong about the type of person they are, so I try not to discount someone based on their appearance.

I am saying HELLO to everyone! Its been awhile and I'm glad to see that Ken has my best interests (ie. quarters) well kept! At this point in time I can sure use them as it seems that if one isn't a mechanic/parts person or such such other occupation jobs are slim to nil at least in this neck of the woods.

Ken I may need to have you teach me tile techniques!

Life has indeed been wonderful otherwise and as Moose stated there is no wedding cake as yet to divide between all your greedy lot! When the time comes we'll be more than willing to share (a quarter a slice!)

If I say this to someone I'm simply letting them know that I admire their character and personality.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything with respect to wanting to have a relationship with them, but the door may be open to that.
