This isnt the first site that ive tried, but the most recent. I have met some really great guys, but they just didnt work out in the end. I kind of compare it to bar hopping. At least im not leaving with some strange dude that NO one knows about. I make sure someone knows where im going(public of course) and the contact info I had for them before I meet them. And of course.. less alcohol involved.. to begin with
Ive been asking myself that lately too. For different reasons. It could be that some people who are attracted to the emotionally unavailable is because they themselves arent ready but tell themselves they are. They know theyre going to be rejected, but can say they tried or see a "kindred" spirit of sorts. Thinking to "fix" each other. Of course not too many that I know can say it actually worked out
Like whowhat, ive been on both sides. Ive set myself up and been let down this way. I think your heart will be so much for the better when the other heart is healed and ready for you. You dont want to force it or in some cases, it will backfire..
Frankly, I'd rather be in my old age and alone than married to someone I settled for. What kind of happy life with someone is that? It's more of an insult to the other person. Thankfully, in this day and age, we've been given the right to pick and choose who we want. Or don't want to spend the rest of our lives with.
