I have made some store bought one for the first time last year...
It was a great experience...So now I am looking forward to making my own.I have some friends that make artisanal wine(dandelion, cherry, blueberry, etc...even rootbeer...)
Anyways would love to hear about your Black Cherry Wine...as for my friends I do not have their recipes but it will one day something added in my wine recipe book...
I have found the Cherry wine they made to be the strongest and one of my favorites...not one for people not accustomed to wine...and of course my fav is to add some cheese along with the wine...hmmm.....
Oh and Gibs I don't know if this is something along your taste but Marc-André Léger is defenitely something that you might just like...he's suppose to be coming out with an album soon...he got known alot around Moncton when he often played at the St James Gates....
Oh and another new one wich is on my fav list is my old neighboor from Moncton's band "Kameleon" wich I'm sure even though you don't know french you can still appreciate their musical talent. Google for them to find some sample of their own music...(old as in last neighboor since I recently moved...hehe).They were chosen in the 10Finalist bands chosen for the NB Rocks this summer...all other bands participating were anglophones( not sure if it was 26 bands that participated or 50...)...I haven't followed up to see what happened but man are they ever good! I just love their funky soulful jazzy groovy music...
