Lots of things made me smile today!
Been to a lovely market here and its all
prepared for Christmas now, big smile.

Hello I can only speak as I find and the Irish have been very nice and friendly.
Nice one keep it going.

NEGATIVES WHY NOT POSITIVES??

This last months on UK Forums there has been a lot of folk
upset. Many have left because of it which is a shame.
Many have been slated, attacked personally.
Rules many of which were broken and still being so.
Why there are so many other forums that can be interactive
chat laugh, and even cajole?
This UK Forum has been allowed to become negative with folks
starting arguements, desperately trying to drag members into
them to have a go.
I ban all negs on my threads. It does not make for good vibes.
I personally never have started an arguement on UK and would not
wish to. No doubt someone will find a post and think gotya! ok,
bet I did not start it though.
I have been dragged in a few times and just ignored in the end.
Life is too short for the aggro.
I do not need it, I think no one does.
Many have gone so far as stalk me on threads to have a go it got
them nowhere.
I am not that interesting just a regular member that enjoys the fun
and the banter like the rest of the normal folks.
Is there any possible way of returning to the early part of the year
when all here were fun to be around?
Positive comments only please on this thread or it will be removed yes by me.

Beyond the bizarre as you say.
Still the Irish Forums from what I have seen
seems to be humourous, friendly, jolly, and
decent.

If you are really honest with yourself there is little good about being single.
You live alone.
Get up alone,
Go to bed alone (Well maybe not always)
Eat alone.
Go to the pub alone.
Watch tv alone.
Talk to yourself.
I know I did it.
Go for a drive out alone.
The only company is the CD in the car.
So its not all its cracked up to be.

I do not see the vindictive nature of the Irish doing that sort of thing.
I hope it never gets in here, and should it do, then would expect you to boot them out as quick as they came.

NO not at all, this is the Irish upbringing!!
I remember going out as a kid with a wedge of bread and jam
it would hold a fortress open!
In Cork maybe it was a case of fight for the space, where I
was there were so many kids we often ended up in the wrong
house dragged in off the street washed and put to bed.
I remember hiding from the Nuns!! yikes scary broads!!

Hi its so true, still there for all to read if they have a mind to. Personally would not bother wasting my time.
There are the few that are there to dig, and dig insult and look for the arguements at the drop of a hat. They then mail private on here and demand others to open the mailbox! Its too far gone now.
Far too many of the decent folks have left. Doubt if they will come back. Shame yes but there it is.

Hi A lot depends on the individual
I feel. Some do lay it on thick and even
start to whinge over being single.
When I was on here and single, I am now
with the guy who found me here on the CS
I did not feel or exagerate the fact I was
on my own.
I enjoyed the forums and laughed and chatted
with the folks. I still do to a degree.
It was a place of something different from
the usual TV etc., So its a 50-50 really.

Gosh you have a soft heart!
I do not on the other hand. The amount of immigrants have totally
ruined UK. They are coming in by the thousands, getting everything that is humanly possible from the Benefits System and know what they are entitled to as well. The English people do not know this. Do they get a crash course in it before they land I ask myself.
The country is gone to rack and ruin, the regular Joe has not a hope in hell of a live anymore. They work some of them others live off the state! nice!!
You try and claim this Asylum in another country and you will be told where to go.
No, high time to stop it all, they live in their own countries and let their Governments see to them. Every country should see to their own first and not be giving handouts to every Asylum seeker that appears on the front door.
They take the housing from the people who need and deserve it, they are priority, indeed why? priority my rear end. They know nothing of how to integrate in the West and they take it for granted everything they get.
A for instance of a family that came to the UK from Sudan.
True story.
They were given a flat in a nice place, not rough mind.
On New Years Eve there was smoke bellowing out of their kitchen window and a neighbour knocked and knocked on their door no reply. They then called the fire service who arrived sharpish.
They knocked the door in a severe manner and it was opened with a bellow of smoke coming out of the flat.
The fire chief entered the flat and found that it was not a fire at all, no they were burning sticks in a bucket in the kitchen! To blacken them to use for a henna type of thing. Oh it was normal in Sudan to do this.
They put the lives of all who lived in that block of flats at risk.
They whinge and moan about not getting this and that, they had nothing when they arrived and should be so thankful for anything. They are not. They wont even attempt to learn the language, oh they do not speak it, they speak it when it comes to money alright.
Enough I say give them all a one way ticket back.
Sorry for going on this is one that gets me on my soapbox!

Had to compliment you all on the way
you treat each other here.
The UK forums are a place for slate
and attack continously.
Its sad that they cannot have fun and
enjoyment without this kind of nasty
mean streak. So many have left there.

RE: How much can you drink

Special events I can drink a lot of Bailey's Cream, be totalled in no time, fresh as a daisy in about 15mins after! A total waste of time. I buy drinks for pals in pubs etc., no idea what they cost nowadays just pay. I stick to the lemonade now. Prefer a nice cuppa that does it for me.
