I'm sorry to hear that... as a guy, I'd expect a woman in that position to take it as a target of opportunity, grab and twist. Guys like that give the rest of us a bad name and need to be duct taped.
This isn't one of those fence-riding topics, I don't feel. Canada isn't Switzerland either, last I checked.. so no true neutrality in that respect. It's easy for human nature and the human mind to 'ignore' or 'tune-out' what one doesn't want to hear. Fact of the matter is that it doesn't fix the issue in any form, it's like an alcoholic that drinks to 'forget'.. it's temporary, and will again manifest itself in one or more fashions until a pro-active position is taken, and acted upon.
I'm still trying to work out the odds of this whole incident... entanglement, then reserve failing. My first initial thought: Who the hell packed the chute, and were they drunk when they did it?
Maybe not for some, but the idea of running around in a sheet-like toga while commando would prove interesting just the same. Commandooooooooooooooooooo!
Stereotype? I guess the studies must be wrong then, citing:
"Studies have shown, though, that cannabis does trigger an increase in appetite, hence "having the munchies." "The munchies" is usually a desire for sweet and fatty treats, foods that, when not consumed in moderation within a balanced, varied eating and exercise plan, promote weight gain. Studies also show that individuals who regularly smoke pot gain weight over time. The increase in appetite leads to extra caloric intake, contributing to weight gain. In fact, even though the use of marijuana as medicine remains a controversial issue, the appetite-stimulating effects of marijuana have been documented. HIV/AIDS patients who need to gain weight, for example, eat more when they smoke cannabis.
Based on what is known, marijuana does not influence metabolism. In other words, what you eat matters just as it would if you were not high on pot."
...
That being said.. yes, if your diet is jacked and you don't eat normally... you -will- gain weight as a result. How many of the marijuana smokers on the forums eat what you'd call similar to a 'normal' diet? I'm curious as to this answer, and if you answer yes, what you call a normal diet.
Honest feedback? No guy with common sense is going to tolerate it, and you're shooting yourself in the foot by trying such a technique. Be you, be 'real', and don't come off as being easy.
It all depends on what you wish to discuss, as you start to post more, there will be some who will chime in more often than others, and vice versa. It should be noted, however, that posting isn't a popularity contest. Pick something that interests you, drop it into the proper category (or the one that fits it best) and let it go :)
"Start New Thread" button, it's on the upper right corner of the main forum screen - Typos are ok, normal, and expected by everyone. Discussion runs a wide range of things, pick a topic and run with it pretty much.
RE: can online friendship survive after meeting in person
Going 'back' in any relationship will most certainly kill it, seen it, been there.
