yes it does but love can make one naive and blind i think we need to educate the non islamic cultures and at least allow girls to make an informed decision on what they are getting into. however no abuser or user will tell you they are not like that, they lie because they know that they wouldnt get anyone if they were honest.
wow darling you are telling the story of so many women. my youngest daughter (17) also dated a boy of that religion and even converted to islam herself to be accepted by his family. of course she wasnt as she is australian and he had to marry the girl his parents chose or be kicked out of the family. it is really sad and more often than not results in heart ache.
i think your guilt may come from the fact that you spoke to a colleague out of spite to get back at him and expose him there for lowering your standars from pain. we are all guilty of this at some point in life as these are the lessons that help us to grow and choose wiser in the future. i think he liked you because you are a kind sweet girl that has a big heart. plenty more fish in the sae darling go catch one :)
It is often hard coming out of a relationship and having to find our self again. who were we and how did we become so different? Relationships indeed change us and hopefully for the better, finding the new you is important and keeping a strong sense of self even more so. It is the past relationships that have helped to create the people we are today, being picky is healthy as it shows us that we know ourselves well enough to know what wont make us happy in life and there for reducing heartache. Make a list and stick to it I say :) good luck all the perfect one for each of us is out there
Hi saved by grace, maybe it is that women are more the chatty type and it is generaly by our nature to tell of the positive things while men are the fixers. I know personaly that I dont always leave a comment as I rate the the pics as they come up, being shallow maybe but time doesnt really allow me to go into every profile and check them out completely, i do that when I find someone that is of interest and that doesnt mean they are socially attractive, one of my closest friends never had a pic, so I guess we cant just relate it to men as I am a woman
