I only have limited time to be online. With My new job and all. And for me I use the hunt and peck typing method. So, I tend to use short statement's. It can be detrimental to any kind of true relationship. And to be honest I've just realized the relationship I was in , is truly over. And that's someone I met through friends. And not online.
I was a single parent for 20 years. I went to single parents meetings in town. And I was lucky enough to have a loving supporting family. I also thought to myself after My kids grew up and left. Wow, now I can be a bit of a kid myself. A wiser kid, But a kid none the less.
My girlfriend whom I broke up with two months ago because of her drinking. Called and said she wants to get back together. I really don't want to hurt her. But I really don't want to deal with an alcoholic. When she wakes up and asks what we did the night before. Well that just gets My short hairs.
Its all history now. But it sure woke Me up. I haven't had a drink in thirty years. Well I had 2 beers with My son on his 21st b-day. And those 2 beers came in 1 bottle. My first and last.
One can't go in expecting to change the person. When love enter's the picture that same person may change on their own to be closer with the one they have fallen in love with.
