As a trucker stops at a red light, a blonde catches up. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door. The trucker lowers the window, and she says "Hi, my name is Heather and you're losing some of your load." The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street. When the truck stops for another red light, the girl catches up again. She jumps out of her car, runs up and knocks on the door. Again, the trucker lowers the window. As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly, "Hi my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!" Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and continues down the street. At the third red light, the same thing happens again. All out of breath, the blonde gets out of her car, runs up, knocks on the truck door. The trucker lowers the window. Again she says "Hi, my name is Heather, and you are losing some of your load!" When the light turns green the trucker revs up and races to the next light. When he stops this time, he hurriedly gets out of the truck, and runs back to the blonde's car. He knocks on her window, and as she lowers it, he says "Hi, my name is Kevin, it's Winter in Michigan and I'm driving the SALT TRUCK!"
The fact that all five of us survived the crash greatly increases our chance of survival(indefinitely). There are three basic factors that we need for survival. Shelter,Water,and Food. Working together as a team, these three factors need to be addressed. Fresh water is found so that issue is resolved. Shelter is a must to protect ourselves from the environment. Food must be foraged either from the island or the ocean. Escape,rescue and what have you can be addressed but these three issues have to be dealt with first.
This is a sequel to Moose's three word game. I know it is a daunting task but lets see if we can fill the thread in less time than the last one. Everyone is welcome. We only have 15 months to do it in.lol
It is very difficult to find,and I know I am very reserved in opening up to someone. It is a slow process and something that has to happen over time. One has to be comfortable enough with another to be able to open up and be themselves with out thinking about it. If there are negative or a change in feelings when you do so then the natural thing to do is retreat.
I think that sometimes, in the search for new partner, our past relationship(relationships) sometimes get in the way. We, ideally, may want everything they were and everything the weren't. That idealism may shroud our expectations when meeting someone new. That being said, to meet someone and have them be interested in you as much as you are them, there is no better feeling. So, there is hope for us all, it can happen.
Hi Deb, Ontario and Eastern Canada has had some severe weather this Winter for sure. Wiarton Willie says six more weeks of Winter. Lets hope he is wrong. Am looking forward to spring and all it brings.
Back into the deep-freeze here for the next week or two. January was very mild which helped make the Winter shorter.Spring is just around the corner, my favorite time of the year.
