Soon will be the changing of the seasons again. While we lived on Oakville we used to go to the Halton Hills to see the fall colors. What is your favorite thing to do in the fall?
Well said LadyDiz, my wife never worked until all of our children were in school.Even then it was her choice to go to work.One can't put a dollar value on her being a home maker until our kids were in school. Our children grew into being responsible young adults and her being there for them when they were young certainly had a lot to do with it.
Yep, do my corn in the microwave. Must cut off the stalk end and remove a few of the outer leaves. 6-min for two cobs. Slide the leaves of the cob. Best thing is that the hair comes off with them, no more having to pick the hairs off the cobs.
The town I am from(Taber) is well know throughout Alberta for it's corn. It has a yearly corn-fest(Fair) and corn-stands pop up all over with vendors selling corn to the public. Q: Do you have any fall fairs or celebrations in your area that center around locally produced crops?
