If anyone thinks that we are living in a perfect world..then think again. Unlike what some people think here...Im not putting words in anyones mouth..Im merely trying to explain that stereotyping is wrong....dont believe everything in the media.. A beautiful model in the US had an admirer whom she ignored an he decided to get someone to throw acid on her face...scarred her for life. My point is...prosecute the criminal and not a whole community and do not outcast all Moslems (which by the way is also correct as per the Free dictionary by Farlex) Crimes have been committed and will be committed in all communities unfortunately due to the barbaric side of the human nature. I have to reply to some people who are still insisting that ''only'' Moslems are cruel and abusive.
@maryrachelle yet, when a crime is committed by a Moslem, the media will say that its because Islam encourages it..but if it was committed by any person from any other religious background..then religion is not even mentioned. We have seen this time and time again. How many criminals and gang members who have no value for human life, are seen wearing huge crosses or have GOD tattooed on their bodies and they commit crimes...yet you dont see such a huge emphasis on their religious backgrounds.

Are you saying that there is no aggression in your communities? A lot of crime that we see and hear about in the US is committed by some church goers as well. Why is that OK..why dont you condemn that? I have just been watching Steve Wilko's...and there was this 16 year old Hispanic (christian) girl who is a gang member and said that she has no problem with killing innocent people or running over a child to get what she wants. Why dont you talk about that?
And when you want to refer to a certain group of people, how about using the proper name: Moslems or Arabs instead of ''they and their''
One of the reasons why I became an atheist is that I got sick and tired of people committing crimes in the name religion and whatever God's they believe in. I believe in equality and condemn cruelty of any kind regardless of the religion. And I did not say that a Jewish wife beater will or can get away with it...no one should get away with it. The law should be clear on that. Even in an Islamic country..if a woman is beaten on her face or shows any bruising, thats illegal and she can go to court. And just so that you know...since we are talking about beatings...The following is happening in Australia (not an Islamic country):

I would pay for my son's flying lessons so he can fulfill his dreams of becoming a commercial pilot..I will buy us a small place instead of renting and I would probably adopt a child..as I have wanted for so many years but havent been able to afford. And I will definitely give generously to charity.
