James Maddison who helped to right the constitution with Jefferson later said that the Constitution should be updated every generation to keep it fresh and evolving , in The Federalist papers . British politics changes to the times and im glad it is not written down and is base on laws in parliament and the judicial system that we we can change what we dont like and learn from laws that are to rigid

Personally think the constitution was a great work of prose and law fro the time the us went from the articles of confederation to it

Someone on another thread raised a good point that people think the right to bare arms is more important then the right to free medical care. i studied a bit of American Politics at University and it occurred to me is the reason for this, It is because they treat the Constitution as a holy rlic that cannot be changed the same people also feel the same about the bible. Both a rigid unmovable not to be changed and God help anyone that thinks they can be interpreted differently from their view.

yeah we are think guns should be banned they kill over 500, 000 people worldwide every year according to a news report i watched a couple of weeks ago they are the real weapons of mass destruction

Climate Change?
