yes wa disgusting that we had no vote in parliament on paying for thatchers funeral but all former Prime Ministers are entitled to this sort of funeral, few choose it however to this extent chris. as for my Mp I emailed her she is a Conservative have not got a reply back yet she must have many people in my city to reply to on this subject as i have not met one person who agrees we should pay for the funeral
chris i disagree with paying for this funeral with state money i also disagree with using my taxes to pay off Greeces debts through our membership of the IMF but there is nothing i can do about either

How dare you say i have no respect for women my post on other threads on here have had me calleda male feminist i have a great deal of respect or women i just dont feel that Thatcher is a role model if i was a woman i would look up to Joan Bakewell, Helen Mirren Anita Roddick, Mrs Pankhurst i could go on but no not Mrs Thatcher in my opinion and just spoke to a freind who said that was the last person she would look up to Mrs Thatcher and my freind is a rabid TORY

Totally disagree with your post as for respect she gets none from me or the minors or steel workers in my family that lost their jobs and just because she wasa woman does not make hera feminist icon in my opinion
Oh yes sopha she diveded the nation those that admired her and those that hated her . Personally thought she destryoyed all the manufactureing jobs iin the country closed doown the mines and steel works and privatised everything but the air but she probably tried to do that to. The poor got poorer whilst the rich richer a truly horrrible woman feel sorry for her family but thats it
