Dinosaurs were a lot of species along millions years, species which slowly disappeared being replaced by others, so a sudden event couldn't be the cause of their extinction. Only of the living species at that moment.

I think the more plausible explanation for the big dinosaurs exit was a plague carried by dino-size mosquitos.

In the eyes of dinosaurs, humans with gun powder will just look like ants with leaves in hands.
Seriously, i don't think dinosaurs all died of a big bang thing. Possibly, they distincted slowly owing to their degrading fertility. Think about the speciese that are under extinction threat. It might be a natural survival of the fittest.
Cannot imagine the scene that humans live on the earth together with dinosaurs. I wonder do their extinction possibly mean giving space to other fitter species, including human beings?
