Thank you all for your words of encouragement. They are helpful but it's going to take some time. It's my fault. I caused the pain I'm feeling so I just have to take it.
When it feels like something is being ripped out of you while you are awake does it help you to yell like that? I just tried it and it does not work for me. What helps you?
What you do is every day that you are gone just think about the fact that you will be going back to a place that you really enjoy. Always keep your mind on all of your new friends here that are waiting for your safe return.
Just think about how lucky you are to have made so many new friends here that care about you very much. You have a very exciting new study to participate in here that can do wonders for your illness and possibly even cure it! Everyone here in AZ and on this site are pulling for you so just think about coming back here so you can one day report to them that it has.
When you get back to New York you can look at all of that snow and feel the cold weather and smile and laugh and say to yourself "I get to go back to 70 degrees in the dead of winter" and then blow New York a Bronx cheer like this

See, I told you but nobody wants to listen to me. Everybody just talked over me like I was not even there and what happened? I'm going away. I stopped posting to threads a while ago because people just talk over me and just ignore me for what reason I don't know but they just do. I'm telling you it works.
I got 21. I gave myself the fan blade one because the answer is both.
I have circular fan on a stand that spins clockwise but the ceiling fan over my bed spins counter clockwise. It depends on how the blades are installed.
you will always wonder if they were ever yours to begin with. I put a small twist on an old saying but I think it just might be the only thing that I have ever heard that is really true. But if you are ever stupid enough to let them go in the first place, then shame on you. If you ever truly find it and you feel in your heart that you have, don't let go because I believe that you only get one "real" shot.
I wish I was ready to date again but I guess I'm not. I never really did have much of a "dating" life at all when I think about it. I always went straight into long relationships. Wow, I never even thought about it before. Hmmmmm
I really like "It's a wonderful life" too but we can't forget "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer". I still get scared when I see that damn monster climbing up over the mountains!
I can't argue with that. You make perfect sense. I understand completely. I handled the situation about as poorly as it could be handled. I have very strong feelings for this person.
I agree completely. I am that person with the lack of self asteem so it all goes back to my original question. Do you wait for that person if you are the one who is loved or do you move on?
