Yeah, the past couple of times PeachesandCream and I were together. It gets harder each time we part and I know it's going to be worse when I have to return home after being with her during the x-mas, New Years holidays.
I know we'll be together again but it's the day when we won't have to part that I look forward to.

Now that you mention it, I remember staying with family in Arizona when we went out to visit my brother. ( he was stationed in the Army at that time in Ft. Wachucka? )
Call me crazy, but......my sinuses where healed, my bones did not ache......maybe it was the climate, however, what ever the reason.....you can always come visit me....

What you do is every day that you are gone just think about the fact that you will be going back to a place that you really enjoy.
Always keep your mind on all of your new friends here that are waiting for your safe return.
Just think about how lucky you are to have made so many new friends here that care about you very much. You have a very exciting new study to participate in here that can do wonders for your illness and possibly even cure it! Everyone here in AZ and on this site are pulling for you so just think about coming back here so you can one day report to them that it has.
When you get back to New York you can look at all of that snow and feel the cold weather and smile and laugh and say to yourself "I get to go back to 70 degrees in the dead of winter" and then blow New York a Bronx cheer like this
That's what you do. Then you'll be back here in no time!
Just have a safe trip and try to relax.

Cat, I wish I was going to go through Florida when I drive back here, but the furthest south I'm going is South Carolina or possibly Georgia. I'd love to meet up with you and Kris for coffee.
Laurie, depending on what part of Texas you're going to be in, we may be able to catch up with each other. I have to stop in Texas anyway in order to get some of my things that are in storage down there.
Earl I understand where you're coming from, it's not easy. Somehow we make it through though that particular heartache.
I spent time with friends tonight, and that helped a lot. I just have to remember that the powers that be have reasons that I may not understand at this moment. Who knows, maybe this is a true test for me, to see how I handle the stress. I guess we'll see.
My biggest fear about going back, is that I'm afraid if we have bitter cold temperatures, that I may have a relapse/exacerbation with the MS like I did last winter when it was extremely cold. Maybe I'll get lucky and the temperatures won't drop like normal and it'll be unseasonably warm.

If I could actually do that I would. I can't just abandon everything in NY, that would be running away. Besides, I have to see my Dad on Saturday and break the news to him that I'm moving out here. He's not going to be happy about it, but I need to do what's best for me. I'm quite sure he'll get over it though.

The reason I ask this is because I'm flying back to New York on Friday, and I don't want to leave Arizona. I've felt better physically, emotionally and spiritually since I've been here. I know that I'm only going back to New York until January and then I'll be back here in Arizona permanently, but I'm really not liking the idea of going back there even if it is only to pack up my place there.
Has anyone else been in this position?????
