I don't get bored; I have way too much to do with bands, renovating, friends, family, working out, cycling, working, sewing, and gardening. Who has time to be bored?
No, men are very complicated especially where their egos are involved as its quite an emotional thing for them. I don't think anyone on this whole planet is simple to understand.
I think you are right what you say. I figured out long ago that I wasn't going to be accepted for who I am; so I just stopped caring. I am doing okay; just lots to deal with.
I figured that out years ago that everyone wants perfection; yet they themselves aren't perfect. Funny how that works. I don't have any kids myself but I am far from done. I am sure not going to have my life or happiness depend on a relationship. I have lots of living to do and better things to do with my time. Keep the chin up Marss.
Jeeps, I am sorry to hear that but glad to hear your healing is coming along nicely. I am also glad to hear you are walking good after being paralyzed. After my car accident; it took me 4 years before I could walk again so I can sympathize with what you are going though. I think you are the best and so glad to see you here on CS.
You know I didn't even take notice that this was in the jokes and humour category but I figured the this thread was meant in good humour and not to be taken seriously.
I feel the same. Men always find faults in me but unlike you they are correct with the faults they find in me. However; not losing any sleep over it. I don't think you are even close to being done with meeting anyone. JMO
My friend's wife gave up smoking about 5 years ago but the damage has been done. She has been diagnosed with COPD and there is no cure for it but it can be lived with. A good chance she may have to walk around with an oxygen bottle or could go to sleep one night with a chance of never waking up. I feel so bad for my friend as he is taking this pretty hard.
I was watching a show called Canada's worst drivers and they were told the same thing about focusing too long on an object. The ones that did drove right into the object. Beig a motorcycle rider myself; I was taught to constantly scan when riding to keep myself alive so I hear where you are coming from Ooby Dooby.
My evenings; I play with a band;teach another band, practice a musical instrument (I have 8), sew costumes, yard work, workout, renovating the house, participate in community or city events, watch tv, or work on my computer. So much to do; so little time.
Yep, I agree. I didn't get any strength from my parents or up bringing. They did everything to destroy me and it was the military that rescued me so to speak. They gave me the strength; not my parents.
