RE: Looking For a Womens point of view

When someone is being secretive, whether male or female, that is a potential red flag.

RE: Hilarious Signs/Posters

Once in Arizona in the summer, where it frequently gets to over 100 degrees and not just mild in the winter 60s, there was a sign just before a small bridge that stated:

Caution: Ice may form on bridge

Do you plan on visiting landmarks on the way?

RE: Profile Help!!!!

Location maybe a problem, being there in SW Arizona on a site presumably intended for Irish singles. Just a suggestion, don't get too down about it.

Speaking of SW AZ, it must be getting hot out there already

RE: Ever Got Drunk And Woke Up With Someone You Can't Believe You Slept With?

I had one experience where I was travelling a lot and when I woke up (alone in the bed) I did not know where the hell I was. Because I had been missing much needed sleep I was probably a zombie the night before. What's worse, nobody spoke English because I was in Quebec, did'nt remember checking in the hotel. Pretty funny now that I look back.

RE: Do you ever wonder?

Congrats on that. It is a hard obstacle to overcome, learning it from childhood.

RE: men... Would you marry a woman much taller?

Taller? maybe

Much Taller? Dont think there is one out there

RE: Do you ever wonder?

There is actually a condition out there that theorizes a personality will find an attraction in the unhealthy habits of others even if is subconscious. "Loser" is too broad a definition, but there are known cases where a women will always seem to seek out the addictive personality in others ie: alcoholic. Hence, the problems that brings up in a relationship

RE: Ever heard of Harry Chapin? (Cats and the Cradle)

Funny story about Harry Chapin, we were supposed to go see him in concert when the accident happened. For that reason, I wont ever forget him or the song.

RE: what's the best and the worst part of

Unfortunately the best is usually the anticipation of going out.

The worst can be a whole slew of things, but not always

RE: If I didn't like peolple from Sweeden bofore I defnetly don't like'em now

Interesting, I always pictured everybody from that region pretty laid back. So then, do you like Americans better than Swedes or are we too far down your S#%$ list to consider confused

RE: If I didn't like peolple from Sweeden bofore I defnetly don't like'em now

So what is with that Scandanavian rivalry, I have heard a few things about it. Swedes make fun of Norwegians and vice versa I imagine. In any case, it is pretty intense.

RE: Anyone else get wierd mail like this one I got?

That is a scammer all the way, I don't know what mish mosh dancingfarmer got.

This one is personalized, but generic at the same time.

RE: Dating Catching or something....

There really is nothing wrong with internet dating. One of the problems with this site is geography. You have people from all over the world: Sweden, Australia, USA, all over the place.

With that being said, I guess some luck would have to be involved.

RE: A Dark Horse

That factor would not really matter running as a Democrat for women and minorities. The segment of the population that would not vote for them based solely on the demographic, would not vote Democrat anyway. ie Obama, Lieberman, Hillary

RE: Going out alone..

I agree that going out is a great way to meet new and interesting people. For guys, the risk associated are minimal. Women are more apprehensive about potential dangers which I can understand. There a lot of wierdos out there. Then again, where you live and familiarity with the community are factors also.

I almost exclusively travel alone for that reason and maximum flexibility. The point being if it can be done without reservations, that is great for both men and women.

RE: Going out alone..

It is great that you were able to have a good time going out alone to a bar. I think more women would be reluctant because men would hit on them to the point of harassment.

Somebody else mentioned the safety in numbers which is true also.

Coffee shops are a common place to see women alone where the crowd is usually not all that aggresive.

RE: whats your favourite new emoticon

I cant see any of the new ones very mad

All that shows up is the word on my screen is the word of the emoticon, ex: "cartwheel" or "smoking"

Worse yet, these new changes are not visible either very mad

RE: Hi there!

Hi lilu101 and welcome, how are things in the Old Pueblo these days?

RE: Can depression become comfortable?

There is a difference between being down about something and having clinical depression. Assuming the thread line means the latter, one can get used to the symptoms but will ultimately hurt themselves in the long run by not seeking treatment. Others however, commit suicide.

RE: Memorable Quotes from Movies....

A yoot????

Whats a yoot??

In referring to the mispronouncing of the word "youth" because of a heavy accent.

Fred Gwynne in My Cousin Vinny

RE: If we all became 8 feet tall overnight. How would things be.............

RE: Kurt Vonnegut -- Dead at 84

I had read a few stories in Welcome to the Monkey House, he had a unique style.

There was also that classic line in the movie Back to School

RE: Google sents you to any place ..

I did not know that about New Orleans. Did they do the same thing with all the regions affected by tsaunami a couple of years ago? What irritates me about Google Earth is that for rural areas in USA and Canada, it will not let you get too close. I can't figure out why this is and it may just be the areas I was trying.
