Once in Arizona in the summer, where it frequently gets to over 100 degrees and not just mild in the winter 60s, there was a sign just before a small bridge that stated:
I had one experience where I was travelling a lot and when I woke up (alone in the bed) I did not know where the hell I was. Because I had been missing much needed sleep I was probably a zombie the night before. What's worse, nobody spoke English because I was in Quebec, did'nt remember checking in the hotel. Pretty funny now that I look back.
There is actually a condition out there that theorizes a personality will find an attraction in the unhealthy habits of others even if is subconscious. "Loser" is too broad a definition, but there are known cases where a women will always seem to seek out the addictive personality in others ie: alcoholic. Hence, the problems that brings up in a relationship
Funny story about Harry Chapin, we were supposed to go see him in concert when the accident happened. For that reason, I wont ever forget him or the song.
Interesting, I always pictured everybody from that region pretty laid back. So then, do you like Americans better than Swedes or are we too far down your S#%$ list to consider
So what is with that Scandanavian rivalry, I have heard a few things about it. Swedes make fun of Norwegians and vice versa I imagine. In any case, it is pretty intense.
There really is nothing wrong with internet dating. One of the problems with this site is geography. You have people from all over the world: Sweden, Australia, USA, all over the place.
With that being said, I guess some luck would have to be involved.
That factor would not really matter running as a Democrat for women and minorities. The segment of the population that would not vote for them based solely on the demographic, would not vote Democrat anyway. ie Obama, Lieberman, Hillary
I agree that going out is a great way to meet new and interesting people. For guys, the risk associated are minimal. Women are more apprehensive about potential dangers which I can understand. There a lot of wierdos out there. Then again, where you live and familiarity with the community are factors also.
I almost exclusively travel alone for that reason and maximum flexibility. The point being if it can be done without reservations, that is great for both men and women.
It is great that you were able to have a good time going out alone to a bar. I think more women would be reluctant because men would hit on them to the point of harassment.
Somebody else mentioned the safety in numbers which is true also.
Coffee shops are a common place to see women alone where the crowd is usually not all that aggresive.
There is a difference between being down about something and having clinical depression. Assuming the thread line means the latter, one can get used to the symptoms but will ultimately hurt themselves in the long run by not seeking treatment. Others however, commit suicide.
I did not know that about New Orleans. Did they do the same thing with all the regions affected by tsaunami a couple of years ago? What irritates me about Google Earth is that for rural areas in USA and Canada, it will not let you get too close. I can't figure out why this is and it may just be the areas I was trying.
RE: Looking For a Womens point of view
When someone is being secretive, whether male or female, that is a potential red flag.
