RE: mail light on but no mail

Kind of the opposite with me, just checked my flower folder the other day and found several that I didn't know I had. Now everyone thinks I am probably a stuck up butt head (I am not stuck up but the other may be true) To all who have sent flowers w/no reply, I'm sorry, for all who haven't sent flowers it's okay. cheering

RE: 10 years

thumbs up Lucky Guy, may your efforts be rewarded by continual bliss and the right woman at the right time. Best Wishes to you both.

RE: SURPRISE!!!! Good and Bad days....

Does it just have to be bad days, it seems as if mine just kind of ran over the last 5 years. Just the usual things already listed dragged out over a longer period of time. Just about the time you think it's over something or someone happens to show you different. And then we wonder why we curbed our thoughts of mayhem and violence, anger and disgust, confusion and self doubt at a later time. As time passes we begin to realize that the time spend with family who loves us, friends who respect you unconditionally and the fact that we are not behind bars to enjoy the days as a free person are far beyond the petty thoughts and feelings of self pity. To quote Lance Armstrong "Live Strong". We can't change what happens when fate deals the cards only keep bluffing until we get the winning hand.

RE: What Would You Do If The Person You Loved Gained Alot Of Weight?

Well, my ex started exercising to lose weight (she didn't need to, she was slim to start with) and decided to lose a little extra weight so she dumped my 200 pound butt out the door and is she ever so much happier now. (insert sarcasm here) tongue

RE: Tweet Tweet Tweet ...Here's a visual for ya!

Been there, done that. I was responding to a medical emergency and walked right into the door (dark outside, clean full glass pane w/bright light inside it). Ruined my glasses and made it difficult to keep a straight face and deal with the patient. Too top of the evening a Sheriff's Officer did the same thing. We all started laughing inside because we/I knew what had happened again. Still laugh about it when telling stories around the station. banana rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Dumb question thread...

RE: I'm Looking for a Shot-Gun Suggestions On What Kind Is Needed..

It's always great to see someone who is able to try something new and not be afraid of the feedback. That is the reason for the last part of the post. That was included for the non-hunters reading the post. Not that I thought you would not understand the finer points of hunting. thumbs up

RE: I'm Looking for a Shot-Gun Suggestions On What Kind Is Needed..

Adrean, I agree w/the .338 and am a firm believer in the .30 / .33 caliber family for most of the North American game animals. If you have any questions about the what works well, feel free to contact any of your local hunting chapters. Trust me, they will fall all over themselves being helpful. Also contact the guide services in the areas you are going to be in and ask their recommendations. Remember they are the ones who are going to be backing you up and I guarantee that they won't be "undergunned" nor let their clients take stupid chances if they are reputable. Enjoy the adventure, it's all about the hunt, the scenery, the experience and not all about the harvesting of the animal.wave

RE: would you go on a date with out seeing the person

Or to be a true blind date do you have to close your eyes also. Or to make it better to quote the indian in the John Wayne movie McClintock "more whiskey" when you realize that you should not have peeked at your date and now it's too late to run......tongue

Seriously, that is how I met and fell in love with my ex was on a blind date, sight unseen until I picked her up. So yes, if he/she is known by your friends.wink

RE: would you go on a date with out seeing the person

Note to all: Remember if you are going on a Blind Date, take doggie treats for the guide dog. doh

RE: Why the man cann't tell the true sometimes

Usually more problems when the truth is told and it is not what the woman wanted to hear, ex. "does this make me look ugly?" How the heck are we to answer that one and still be alive 30 sec later. dunno

I have found that being honest w/o being brutal is the best steps to maintaining a relationship. Unfortunatly it was the other way around w/my ex about honest communication, she wouldn't talk unless her mind was made up and then no changing or compromising, ever.

Sorry, it's a two way street with this thread, both men and women are guilty. JMO
