tough month , I hope your mum was well enough to enjoy some time with her great grandson . I have seen it more than once that someone ill can hold on till after an event like a child born or a marriage . Seen an event cause someone to give up and pass away as well . Still a new fella will take your mind off the tough things......like Wash giving your boot away .

I think you still can with voip . For here its the same for a landline ringing in as it would be if I had a landline . My voip prefix is for this area however I could have any area prefix that I want .

Dump the landline ,go voip and Skype home . You need voip if you get a choice of "ring one for idiots
ring two for bigger idiots
Skype home does not seem to have a function like that .
I supply people with my voip number and ring them with Skype home . If they have Skype as well its FREE

3 "minor" prangs on road with a few drops of a motor bike on gravel , one of those I nicked a culvert marker on a corner. Rolling 4x4's when wet off road is just part and parcel of my work or used to be .
Funniest one on road was with two mates going hunting . There was these two culvert markers and as I had gone from a bike to a series 1 Land Rover and fresh from being nocked flat by one it was pay back time , bang ,bang then nicked a pile of metal ,up on two wheels , there was this power pole bang it just plain disappeared . The top part did any way .The bottom part came up through the floor on the passenger's side and dragged it from the ground . We never stopped , just slowed enough for Tom to pull the stump into the Rover . Damage ,haha not likely , bend in the bull bar ,broken spring centre bolt and a hole in the floor . Wonder we ever made 20 let alone 21 . And this was just the start of the weekend hunting . We were six foot tall and bullet proof .

I would be quite happy covering the old rover in panels . Sitting on a ridge under a sun brolly blasting scrub and gorse . No one would have believed that a ray could shoot down anything 20 years ago , what's in the future 50 years time is anybody's guess . Must say I would like to see a demo of this weapon .

better get me one Robo , if it can shoot down planes it will nobble gorse and scrub as well . The way power prices are going here in five years it will cost a dollar per kilowatt .

global warming is filling some people's need to believe in something , just like religion . Rising sea level ? where ? its no higher on the bridges close to the sea here . Yet we are told Pacific Islands are going under . Crap , some Danes were out here spouting "the end is nigh " all the while saying we need to transfer first world wealth to "developing" countries . What the hell has one got to do with the other . The threat of global warming is being used as the reason why we should plant our class 5,6 and 7 land to have a carbon sink . We have hundreds of thousands of hectares of state land in tussock that could be planted if the Government was serious about having carbon sinks . Global warming is being used as an excuse to do other things .

I have had some practice downloads worked every time . U-tube must not trust Aussies with this link . Its all about some guys who plumbed one of their mates house to run nothing but beer . They had cameras set up to watch the guy and his wife when they discovered the beer in the taps . I think .

well it should keep the starlings and rats out of the roof , on balance I would rather all the rats and starlings that I get than one snake . Funny thing with animals , the smell from one attracts others and any thing that eats them all the way up the food chain .

Because of the cost and distance from town I bought corn thins for my son rather than bread . Same texture and taste as cardboard and a tendency to catch fire when toasted on the wood stove . Quite good in away as they keep months unopened . I grudgingly eat them when out of bread . The boys pet billy goat just loves them .
