Why wait until tomorrow to tell someone you care? For beyond the dawn tomorrow, you may not find them there. Seen this i just thought it was really nice
The past now lies behind us, and tomorrow may not come. We only have today, my friend, to beat upon life's drum.
Friend, why not say, "I love you!" to those that you hold dear, For time is such a fragile thing that death may soon appear. Let others know you love them so there's never a doubt. The best time is now, my friend, to try and work things out.
If you keep your love a secret, it cannot multiply, For love, when it's neglected, begins to slowly die. Go, hug your wife and children- go shed a happy tear! And love will pay grand dividends each day throughout the year.
Hotashells surveys and forum input is going to be sorely missed.....in regards to matters of the heart i think its better to keep the mails private and personal.......or for that matter if you have a problem with another member......I just thought some of the posts yesterday should have been private and not put into the public domain on the Forums........Just my opinion......
Thanks a mil........ Valentines never bothered me before this year.... Hope all goes well on the date enjoy every minute...... heres to unexpected suprises....
A man asked his wife what she'd like for her birthday.. "I'd love to be eight again" she replied
On the morning of her birthday he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops
and then took her off to the local theme park. What a Day!
He put her on every ride in the park:
* The Death Slide
* The Wall of Fear> * The Screaming Monster Roller Coaster
Five hours later she staggered out of the theme Park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.
Right away they journeyed to a McDonalds where her loving husband ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate milk shake.
Then it was off to the movies: the latest Star Wars epic, a hot dog, popcorn, all the Coke she could drink, her favourite lolly and M& M's.
What a fabulous adventure!
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed onto the bed exhausted. He leaned over his precious wife with a big smile and lovingly asked "Well Dear, what was it like being eight again?"
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. "I meant m dress size, you f*ckin tw*t"
The moral of this story: Even when a man is Listening, he's still going t get it wrong.
You did what most people would do Cheyni.....you were protecting your daughters from getting hurt, and that is definatly the right thing to do. Looking after your daughters interests was your priority. You never told him he couldnt see them again..My heart goes out to you, having to tell your daughters that their Daddy is gone to heaven is the worst job in the world. My eldest daughter was only seven when i had to tell her. You did nothing wrong. I wish you the very best....
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He >proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air. My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you >still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to >those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE. You are special- Don't EVER forget it." If you do not pass this on, you may never know the lives it touches, the hurting hearts it speaks to, or the hope that it can bring. Count your blessings, not your problems. And remem ber: amateurs built the ark .. professionals built the Titanic.
I live in Kildare and my daughter attends the Asthma Clinic in Tallaght, i have to rush her to emergency on a good few occasions with Pneumonia, its hard enough getting to Tallaght, could you imagine trying to get accross the M50 in rush hour traffic I think everyone should have access to it locating it in Dublin yet again is crazy, the roads in Dublin cant cope with the traffic, and thats without trying to get Parking......Athlone would be a great spot, as would the outskirts of Portlaoise......
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this.......Does anyone think its about time some of our centralised/specialist services should be set up outside the Dublin area, or at least on the outskirts where everyone can access them......
Irish is not a dead language........English yes is globalised. The countries in Europe still speak their own languages with english as a second, which is what i believe should be done here. Irish is part of our heritage and should be used, i just think it should be taught differently. If the schools could encourage the same feeling for irish as there is for Spanish, French and German . Maybe then when visitors come to Ireland they would learn a few words. As to the Gaa i think both football and hurling are amazing sports and has its place with soccer, rugby etc.....Our heritage is important.....We dont have to loose our identity to become more globalised, just adapt it..
for me season one and two were fantastic, three and four were equally good, i missed some of season five but im hoping Santa will deliver it.Keifer Sutherland is a great actor and the part suits him so well.
My friend met a lad from Cork on this site, she is from Dublin, they got on fantastic the first time they met and decided to give it a try, that was a couple of months ago and they are still going strong, so much so that she has decided to move to Cork to be with him.....It can work, if both sides make the effort.......All the very best, hope all goes well for you
