Btw this is actually the first Valentine's day I've ever been excited about, because the last 10 years of my life I been single/Dateless on every one!!! But for the first time now I actually have a date organised!
You know just the way life can throw unexpected curve-balls at you it can also bring unexpected pleasant surprises!
Thanks a mil........ Valentines never bothered me before this year.... Hope all goes well on the date enjoy every minute...... heres to unexpected suprises....
I know it's difficult, but keep in mind it is just another day. Plan something nice for yourself, with or without a mate (a couple of hours in a spa spring to mind!). And bear in mind as well that there will be plenty of women out there getting cards/flowers/chocolates from men who spend 90% of their time on a barstool or the footie pitch or in front of the box!!
And before the lads lynch me, no doubt there are women who behave equally badly!!
I decided I was going to buy myself a valentines pressie. I have my eye on some really nice ear rings. So if I was with someone I would spend a few bob on them, since I am not I will spend it on myself. you should do this too and if anyone asks if you got anything nice on the day you can truthfully tell them that you did.
I always celebrate valentine's day by forcing the postman to empty his bag (nearly said sack...very messy oops), on the doorstep and recheck every envelope.
Doesn't get me a card but it ensures that I won't be the only one having a bad day!
