RE: Dora The Explorer

The baby I co-parent loves Dora...this year for her birthday, I went out and bought everything Dora for her, from the paper plates and cups..to Dora toys and a Dora raincoat.

When she walked into the room, all she could say was "Mama, thanks everything is Dora!"

Then she gave me hundreds of "I love you kisses"...I think niether one of us will ever forget that birthday theme, lol

Once again I will not make a list of names,

but I will tell you that each of you as individuals have touched my heart.

Every time I logg in to CS, the flowers and e-mails are special messages that light up my days and nights.

Today, it has been a bit more emotional...outside of CS, I meet a lot of great people also, but today a stranger ask me for a hug.

I did not even think about it, I gave her the hug, and she was so happy to get a hug from me.

I am blessed to feel the warmth of so many here, and the sincerity that comes along with it.

So to all of you that have always taken the time to write me, either in the threads or privately...all of YOU are my angels.

RE: What are you doing for Christmas?

I am staying home, but all that wish to stop by, or come over for dinner are welcome.

I make a giant dinner to be had around 5:00 PM on Christmas Eve, then at 7:00 PM the family opens half of their gifts.

At midnight we have another dinner, to celebrate the beginning of Christmas day.

I make sure to put together as many plates as I can for all the people that I know will not be having a Christmas meal and send it out to them along with a small gift, if possible.

New years eve we celebrate by going out to First night, seeing all the events, and sometimes we will have New years Eve count down by the Boston Harbor ( A boston tradition )where thousands gather to see the fireworks to the count down in freezing weather!

Love should never feel like an "obligation" to say in response, or because you are guessing someone loves you.

Love grows naturaly, it should never be rushed, if it is, is it really love then?

Sometimes a person maybe shy or even afraid to say I love you, if you think this may be the case, express your own feelings first.

Making that clear that your emotions are real and there are no expectations for the feeling to be returned...love is a gift that the other will give you when the time is right.

If the feelings are mutual, you are more than likely to know.

6o degrees is summer sometimes in New England, this year the real heat came in late July...above 75 degrees.

Yes 26F, and it feels like 14F, because of the winds, my windows are rattling.

It's 26 degrees for me, I have never lived in a warm place, but I am tired of snow storm, and blizzards with 3 ft of snow.

I have the heat way up in my house, yet I feel a draft in every room,
especially mines!
