My own definition of a nice guy...caring, understanding, loving.

Has self respect, and and will give the same in return.

Will not be judgmental, But will give constructive criticsism, this is real life so we face real life issues in a positive way.

Not be self centered, and take genuine interest in his lady and her children(if any are involved)

Admire each other, for the good qualitys, values, and accomplishments.

Materialism is not part of the package, but what comes from the heart is.

You did what was right at the moment, but what happen after you left, you may never know.

An abuser controls a woman in every aspect, and she becomes psychologically dependent on him...
*(not saying that this is what may be happenning to your daughter)*

but speaking from the domestic violence classes I took, and also my sister falling through that same pattern.

The women will protect the abuser, 1.thinking he is going to change, 2.out of fear it is going to become worse, they will even tell the cops everything is alright.

My sister took many beatings, and I had to call the police many times, even though she did not want me too, I also requested custody of my nieces, which I got.

But it was the last beating he gave her that made her realize she was going to die...8 hours of physical torture, treated like an animal, she manage to escape in the morning...her abuser is now in jail...but was only 5 yrs for attempted murder.

I do not want to scare you with the stats, but this is the reality, it takes women 7 tries to escape an abuser before she finally is free, and getting help.


I hope for your daughter, that she can reason, and be safe...

Eric,,I read this like 5 times...trying to make sure I read it right.

If I am correct you want a cyber wedding, but with your girl by your side?

You know there are many sites on the internet where you can do this yourself, for fun, or sentimental value, and not need anyone to do it for you.

Of course it's not a "legal" wedding.....

That would be difficult to answer, it is easy to capture many hearts, but can one of those hearts be the true one?

My imagination can let me dream, but my mind knows, the realities I face, it would take a special man to give me unconditional love.

I do believe I can find him here, it's no different then our daily lives, perhaps even more insighful.

more useless information

I was talking to a guy online, and forgot to pay attention to my cooking, so the food started to almost burn...I quickly grab the pot holder, and took the pot off the stove...

I turn around and the pot holder had caught on fire!

I take the pot holder from the stove and throw it across the kitchen hoping it lands in the sink....it missed the sink and landed on the floor!

Now the floor caught on fire, I am desperately throwing water on it, until I put out the fire....

There is a huge burn spot on the floor and the bottom of my boot melted off!

True story from this intelligent Angel, who had a freak accident.

Maybe I should stop talking to guys online while cooking dinner
