I've been phoning everyone he knows all day and just got hold of David his oldest son.He says his dad is fine, but can you believe it he got shot but was wearing body armour and has three broken ribs, but is more worried about the lad with him who also got shot in the leg.

hiya i was on msn to jim yesterday as we have a special date on new years eve. He promised he is ok and that he is in kuwait today and will be going to hamburg to recover on wednesday. He assured he will be on the computer morning noon and nite when he gets to hamburg.

I talked to jim i think it was 2 days ago. He said that he just had bruised ribs. He didn't tell me they were broken!

So glad to hear your injuries are not serious Jim.....but I'm still gonna pray for you that you return home safely soon. And more prayers for your friend who was injured, for all of the soldiers battling and injured that they return home safely and soon. And also for all of the family members of those fighting over seas.....I pray for them that their prayers are answered when their loved ones return as well.

His dad says that it is not serious, but hey it scared the crap out of me, he's one of my best friends. So if anyone hears from him let me know and i'll try and keep you all informed.
