Oh yeah, people definitely scare me sometimes. One time we were getting a vacant apartment ready for a new move in and I told the girl I was working with not to use the bathroom because the doorjamb was broken, she could use the office bathroom. I had to go pick up supplies and when I returned an hour later the neighbor said he kept hearing banging from the vacant apartment. She had decided to usze the restroom and got locked in. She was in there for an hour screaming and banging trying to get someone's attention......duh
I think along the way we experience many types of love that prepare us for the one we were meant to be with. I lost a man I loved so dearly. I thought I would never find that kind of love again. I was wrong. I have found something even better. The person I love now in no way takes his place in my heart but they have carved out their own place.Plus I am n ot the person that I was back then, I think I have matured enough to fully appreciate it this time around.
I am a property manager and today I got a call to do a well check on a resident who had not been seen in several days and neighbors were worried. I went over and found him dead in the apartment. He had no family, no friends, and was basically alone in this world. I am asking all of you to say a prayer for him and to remember life is too short for the petty BS. Look at the people you love and tell them that you love them, tomorrow may be too late.I see so many people who always think that they have tomorrow. Sometimes we don't get a tomorrow, so make sure those you care about know how you feel.
Personal message to KB- Know that you are loved.Koppereyes
I lost the man I loved (love still) almost 6 years ago. He was killed in an automobile accident. He got in the car with a friend who was driving drunk so that he wasn't alone, instead of just taking the keys away from his friend. His friend lost control of the car and hit a tree, my love was thrown and killed instantly. I have been there quite a few times. The first time I went I felt compelled to go. It hurt so badly and I just felt as if I should be there. I go every year on the anniversary of his death. It helped me and sometimes I feel as if his spirit is still here watching over me. It might give you closure to go back. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.
You have given me a gift beyond measure. You have opened my eyes, heart, mind, and soul to the beauty of love. You have made me feel things I thought were lost to me, and given me feelings that I had never dreamed of. I will treasure every moment I have with you.
