Thank you. I mean i may not be perfect but one thing i do have is self-respect and i will never change that.

Some, but when you are a young person living here you are forced to conform to the lewd behavior because they use "culture" to justify such acts. Just yesterday i had a conversation with a friend who is dating a client of mine and she wanted to know if he had a big investment account at my company because she wants to know if she should sleep with him or not. I am like wtf?

I was having a conversation with a male in my age group and he was angry about my dating standards. I think my standards are normal but in Jamaica people just do not have any self-respect... The key requirement for me is that a man must respect himself and he must respect me. Such qualities are very lacking among men in my age group it seems...
I met a guy on new years eve and gave him my number and within one week of conversing on the phone the dude invited me to have home-cooked dinner at his place and a massage. I was very much offended by this so i stopped communicating with him without any explanation. He called, He text, He Email..
Am i being too picky if i am asking a man to value himself and the woman he is trying to be with?
Am i being too picky i refuse to date men with weird ghetto names, bling bling and very poor grammar?
