A "friend" of mine from work recently went to Scotland and had a fantastic time meeting guys and having fun. She even ended up bringing one fellow home--and it seemed he adored her.
Here is the nitty-gritty on that: She isn't easy on the eyes, she has a crappy personality (she wears thin on my nerves constantly) and she really puts no effort in to herself. (She didn't go to college, she doesn't go with the fashion trends, she doesn't groom herself very well... etc.)
So how did she meet this fantastic guy and how did he end up adoring her?
I think I am pretty cute, I am nice, and I take time on my appearance. I have two masters degrees and a good sense of humor.
Why can't I find someone to adore me? Do I have to travel to Ireland? Will the Irish guys fall in love with my California accent?
Do I have to travel half-way around the world for a chance?
I would love to barrell race, but my favorite horse is way too big and lazy! My second horse is also too big, more showy. My third horse (which I just inherited) is a 30 year old retired race horse--she is just too goofy to do anything with! So now I am looking for another!
<~~~ Horrible cook on the BBQ grill, fantastic cook in the kitchen
I often wear t-shirts that have little messages on them and I also find they are great conversation starters! My newest two: "I did WHAT last night?!" and "A cowgirl needs more than an 8 second ride!" They're fantastic!
A hummingbird flew into my house and they do chirp. The poor little guy--it took us an hour to shoo him outside. They can starve to death in an hour, so it was very tense!
I have bird feeders all over our property, they are wonderful!
How a man is measured in society is an entirely subjective standard. Everyone has their own ideas of how people are measured, whether it is through military experience, religion, politics, social status, etc.
I, personally, believe a man is measured by the way he treats others. A man could have all the money or social status, or whatever—but if he is a big jerk, who really wants to be around him? And, on the other end of the spectrum, you could have an impoverished, kind hearted soul who has wealth in friendship. That is who I would rather be with.
When I die, I want someone to take what they need! I donate blood every few months, donate money when I can, and I donate my time, all the time, whenever someone needs a hand.
Who is willing to travel half-way around the world for a chance?
Ouch! You guys are right--I sound mean and jealous and petty.
I was hurt and I was being spiteful.
