Being a vegetarian, I have never tried/tasted any meat or seafood in my whole life. Many people are surprised to hear this. Even being a vegetarian, I have ample varieties and many more, I am yet to taste. Therefore not complaining here. Also, I cook my meals at home, fresh and healthy. At the end of the day, nothing satisfies me better than even the simplest home cooked food. Rice & Dal. :).
25 yrs. Was out of home when I was 19, but was in University and worked for 2 years before heading to "The Land of Opportunities", is where I live now. Just that it has not remained "TLOP" much anymore!
Hi, WTF?????? I mean WTF. What you guys are asking that the hosts should have found more words or better words so that there could be A WiNNER? Come ON, You cannot beat either of those Kids with any words. They are experts in what they do. So whichever word you pulled out, they would spell it. They learnt the art of it. I once read somewhere, "Daughters give back more than you gave them". Not trying to tell you to hold them, for your own selfishness, but as much as possible, kids need both mum and dad. Do your part to be in touch with them.

6 yrs now, alone for Xmas. I am here in MA alone in my home now. Will be in South FL by myself for Xmas, in my home. (Yes, I have many homes for myself) in different states. :)

With this, I do smell that soon, people also would not physically type stuff on forums. The internet would know your character and will start making comments for you. I can only say this is the latest one, I am on. Ever since the age of Internet and email, I cant count. Some hit, some miss. What I certainly can say, I have made friends with a whole number of people from different parts of the world. Now if you ask me the question again, How many sites and what's your purpose. Hello Folks, It is that time of holidays people do Merry Xmas & Happy Holidays. Now, poor me!. I dont celebrate either but do have forced holidays and all by myself at home. Instead of sitting alone at home, I thought I will go around and explore some place. Thinking of going to Montreal.
Lol, thats happened too... but with someone I knew for short period before we travelled. Myself and a single lady traveled on the same flight sitting side by side from CA to Orlando, spent 3 days roaming around together and stayed in same hotel, side by side. (absolutely no touching, kissing, sharing food, hahaha ). Only thing we shared was the rental car :)
Hello, Thank You Folks, all those of you who responded. I would like to share my thoughts or learning from this Poll.
Europeans seem to be either liberal or open minded and trust worthy. Americans - Some of them may do it, depending on the "What do I have for me in it" factor ??, Lol, but thats true. Some do it if it seems fun, some are sckeptical. Asians- Outrightly cautious and wont go for it. Africans - Treads cautiously as well.
I have done these things: 1. Travelling with Strangers ( who are now friends). 2. Sleeping at Strangers houses( yes, through Couchsurfing). 3. Hosting a Stranger(s) in my house, and when I had to go to work, I handed over my house keys to them. :) ( My mind was, nothing is mine and I go without all this. Soo what the heck)... 4. Cooked for strangers and fed them. 5. Eaten with/or at homes of strangers.
So, it makes me think the world gives back to you what you give!
However to mention, I had some hesitation, about eating at strangers houses, but did it anyways! :).
How about lets do it? It is getting cold and not much to do outside. How about an insider thing. A potluck, A movie time. Lemme know who all like to join?
