It's been said that "music is food for the soul" As it happens i watched a documentary on the telly just the other night about how listening to favourite music triggered memories and positive responses in Alzheimer's patients, as well as providing benefits to people with other illnesses including Parkinson's disease etc. The research is still on-going, but any improvements which can be brought about to those afflicted is a plus
Then that means you're "outside" most of the time now
Thanks for the compliment. I was made a caricature made of myself as part of an Award i won ... at least it manages to make me look better as well ... impossible as that may seem .....
Appreciate your efforts here ... along with your earlier posting (#633) regarding the words on sensitive people . That pretty much summed up everything concerning my life actually ... and i have often wondered if this is a good or bad aspect about myself ?
Yet another warm and sunny day coming up here in Melbourne with an expected temperature in the low 20's (centigrade) . Who would like to change places with me ?
What! my name's not in the Poll and disappointingly not even had a mention yet ........... Seriously though, i always look forward to reading from members like "mollybaby" and dare i say it ...truheart... despite all his many shortcomings ... . But i would like to give special mentions for "Dreamcatcher" with her humourous and clever comments, along with her insightful Blogs, and "2intrigued". It's always good to see and read this woman's interesting, intelligent, and respectful but witty comments throughout the Forums. With no disrespect to the other fine members here, as there are a lot of interesting contributors here on the site, but if i had to make a choice, i think 2intrigued would get my vote
Valentines Day gets more commercialised by the year ... at least judging by the ads here in Australia Besides expressions of love should be shown every day and not just confined to one particular day of the year ... just my thoughts!
If whathisname referred to either of you lovely ladies as a "train wreck", then all i can say is that you're both the best looking train wrecks i've ever seen
