Hi Serene

I was nearly 5 years old when i voyaged with family from England to Australia as well, on board the 'Fairsky' ship ...
Was returning back to England 5 years later on the ill fated liner 'Fairsea' (Sitmar line). Engine caught fire half way there and stranded for weeks in the Atlantic ... but that's another story ...

Actually "Thomas Dolby" came to my head straight away as i happened to be listening to a song of his at the time. In any case i have just been trying to make the thread more interesting by making it more of a challenge whilst also injecting a little fun into it at the same time. Obviously you like to keep things simple and therefore a little monotonous, in which case i won't be adding to the thread in the future ... Hope you enjoy it

If i were to invite the Woman, then i would be prepared to reimburse her the cost for her expenses etc. But no way send her the money prior to the trip. I have been stung a few times like that in the past by what turned out to be scammers, and it won't happen again
