These are human beings and children at that, not commodities or rubbish that you can dump at sea! (which is also not allowed in some parts, because of pollution etc., understandably so!).
The fact that they are being sent off on their own speaks for itself. The families are desperate for better lives because their own governments (dictators in some cases) are treating them so badly that they fear for their lives. The United Nations should step in and sort out these countries' rulers and make them give their people a good reason to say at home in their own country, which I'm sure most would like to do if they could have a decent safe life there. So, the reason they are leaving needs to be sorted!
In the meantime, the way these poor immigrants are coming in in droves over the borders and in overcrowded boats needs to be dealt with efficiently yes but even more important, humanely.
Unfortunately, it's the human weakness of "not in my backyard" and "as long as I'm alright Jack". More common among those who are not so poor and desperate. We tend to leave it all up to the charity organisations and 'do-gooders'.
Hi loyal, you pick the last letter from the previous one for the next famous person (I know, it does look like some are making up names or putting people that nobody's heard of!). We try not to repeat unless it's so far back we can't remember or we're badly stuck.
So if last one is Robert De Niro, the next one could be:
Can't blame people for being a bit cagey with info on the internet. I think the main things that should be true are the physical stats (as near as possible to the choices they give you!) and your interests (without giving away anything too personal). The 'never married' choice looks sad in print, makes it like there's something wrong with being single, which there definitely isn't, in my opinion. It's a wonder they don't ask us to put our shoe size and chest size! lol Eye colour: some might have one blue eye and one brown eye. Job title should be enough, and still doesn't automatically that the person is good or bad; giving income amount should be optional. At the end of the day you can't rely on a profile to get to know a person, it's just a rough idea and not really accurate. Even your best and most recent pic could be deceiving.
RE: can you tell by your profile pic what you are thinking in that moment
can you tell by your profile pic what you are thinking in that moment, he asks. What kind of question is that?
Asking me if I can tell by my own profile pic what I'm thinking? Really?
erm pedro, I don't need to look at my own pic to know what I'm thinking. I think you phrased that question a bit wrong!
Go back to bed Pedro, it'll be alright when you wake up!
