Boil Fry (chips or yesterday's left overs sliced up and fried with onions, sausages etc.) Bake (make a few slits, rub some salt and olive oil on it and put in oven, yum! just a bit now, mind the cholesterol!) Potato Salad Mash Roast Potato gratin (baked in oven with melted cheese and garlic)
Boiling is the healthiest of course, and least fattening, just watch the timing.
I have only heard the UK song and the Irish song and they're not bad but they've not had much luck in the last 10 years. One of the best of recent years, I think is Norway's Fairytale song, the young guy with the violin, Alex I think his name was. It is a bit of fun even if it's meant to be a song contest and was meant to be for the songwriters.
