I'm defending the right for someone to defend him or herself (I certainly do not believe in retreating or roling over and playing dead, I believe that if somebody attacks you, you do what you have to to survive, if that means putting a hole in your attackers chest then so be it). 'The dead teenager' (as you put it) is as tragic as any death teenager or not, the fact of the matter remains that Gerge Zimmerman was found 'not guitly' (case closed) as to his instability, I'm no psychologist (he's most probably as sane and as stable as any of us). As for me thinking like a woman, I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not because to my knowledge nobody has a clue how women think (even women) ...

... Unarmed little angel, hell Trayvon should have used his wings to fly away but no he assaulted Zimmerman and was shot ... I'm not sure if it was Trayvon shouting for help, I distinctly remember watching the trial and it was supposedly Zimmerman who called for assistence and not Trayvon at that stage Trayvon (the little angel) was stradling Zimmerman on the ground beating his head against concrete ... I'm certainly saying that GZ was within his rights by shooting Trayvon (seems the court and the jurors agree with me) ...

... Guns are tools that are used to defend yourself. If you are attacked (which is what Zimmerman was) you are quite entitled to defend yourself (which is what Zimmerman did) and in doing so you may use force (which is what Zimmerman did). Guns are used to make holes in target tissue, the gun did exactly what it was supposed to do ... the mistake Trayvon made was attempting to assault somebody as simple as that. How dare you try and make this a racial issue? Boo Hoo, the black teenager, the eternal victim, is that what you think? Do you have such little faith in the judicial process that you believe that a well documented trial like this came to the conclusions it did because of race? ... You are quite entitled to follow a suspicious person in your neighbourhood, and confront that individual if you believe he or she is up to no good or are you one of the spineless wonders who believe that your safety and the safety and security of your family and community is someone elses problem? ... I must add that your opinion and views are just that, your opinion and views and I respect that however on this issue we clearly disagree ...

... Trayvon Martin was the instigator and the only crime that was committed was Trayvon Martin (wannabe thug)assaulting Zimmerman. Zimmerman had every right to get out of his car. As for the confrontation the little thug Trayvon started it and Zimmermans actions were clearly self defence. Whether Zimmerman had 5 guns or 300 is irelavent to anything (he's quite entitled to own guns, unlike a large percentage of 'gangstas' he had licences for his weapons) ... ... Trayvon got taught a valuable lesson (and other 'wannabe ganstas' take note, you cannot assault someone and expect to get away with it especially if the person is armed) ...

Unfortunately if everyone stopped eating meat the planet would not be able to feed those animals on farms etc. and they would all end up starving which is possibly and even worse fate(as would a large percentage of the human race) ... If we weren't supposed to eat animals, why are they made of meat, hmmmmmm? ... I certainly didn't get to the top of the food chain to eat nuts and berries ...

... Interesting you state he has issues with violence and self control, amazing, are you psychic or simply responding to what the popular liberal press want you to believe. If you read a previous post his girlfriend stated that she lied to the police and that he never pointed a firearm at her ... Sounds like she's the one with 'issues' and not Zimmerman ... I do however respect your right to an oppinion ...

... Trayvon was a little 'wannabe thug', he got shot assaulting an armed civilian. As for PTSD, I've no doubt that an event such as the one Zimmerman was involved in could result in PTSD (you don't need to be a soldier etc.). There is no way you or anyone else could determine just what Zimmermans beliefs and attitudes are anymore than you can determine mine ... At least Zimmerman took one prospective thug out of the gene pool before it could multiply ...

... A Washington state woman traveling from St. Louis to Seattle was shocked and embarrassed after TSA agents confiscated her sock monkey’s two inch toy pistol.

Phillis May, owner and creator of the cowboy sock monkey “Rooster Monkburn,” hoped to bring several of her toy creations as well as her sewing kit on-board for the Wednesday flight home.

While going through the airport screening process, May quickly discovered her carry-on bag to be missing. Shortly after, she looked up to find her bag confiscated in the hands of TSA.

“And the (TSA agent) held it up and said ‘whose is this?’” May told King 5 News. “I realized oh, my God this is my bag.”

After digging through May’s possessions, TSA officers located Monkburn’s trusted toy sidearm, immediately confronting May over the discovery.

“She said ‘this is a gun.’ I said no, it’s not a gun, it’s a prop for my monkey,” May said.

Incredibly, the TSA agent went on to claim that the toy pistol was so realistic, that no one would be able to tell the miniature toy gun from a real one.

“She said ‘If I held it up to your neck, you wouldn’t know if it was real or not,’” May said.

The toy gun was quickly confiscated, but not before TSA agents threatened to call the police, alleging that TSA protocol required them to do so.

“And I said really? You’re kidding me right, and she said ‘no it looks like a gun,’” May said. “I said well go ahead.”

Amazingly, TSA decided not to carry the already ridiculous situation any further, opting to let May go ahead without police involvement. The miniature toy pistol would stay in TSA custody.

“Rooster Monkburn has been disarmed so I’m sure everyone on the plane was safe,” May said sarcastically. “I understand she was doing her job but at some point doesn’t common sense prevail?”

Unfortunately for air travelers, May’s situation is similar to countless others. Whether it’s arresting passengers for peanut butter jokes or having the wrong kind of watch, the TSA has now become such a laughing stock that is has begun threatening travelers with arrest for joking about its security.

Despite congressional reports finding the TSA to be completely useless, confirmed by the TSA’s own internal admission of only employing security theater, the agency continues to grow. Unsurprisingly, the TSA’s $1 billion “chat down” program, which attempted to identify dangerous passengers, was found to be completely ineffective by the Government Accountability Office just last month.

Although Americans are far more likely to die from bee stings than terrorism, the TSA also continues to implement new civil liberty-trampling security methods on a regular basis, with airports now attempting to stop the instillation of new “detention pods,” which force passengers to be momentarily detained before exiting an airport.

Given the TSA’s history of lying about controversial interactions with travelers, it is unclear whether the agency will admit to the embarrassing encounter ...

It's your life therefor it's your decision to make when and if the situation demands such a decision be made.
