and that's ok that you disagree...but your hearts function is move blood through your body and your brain is actually for all the functions that the rest of your body does...your conscience is your soul...has nothing to do with your heart or brain
First of all, God knows our hearts, knows when its sincere...but yah...as mere humans may not understand how God can forgive, but he sent his son as a living sacrifice for ALL of us, not just some...
nope I disagree...I have the law of God written on my heart just like you and every other living being has...it's called a conscience...the holy spirit...but it's up to us individually to accept that or not...we were born with it, it's a gift actually
Religious wars are man made...defending what they perceive to be true...you know what really gets me is when people say "why did God let this happen"...first of all we live in a fallen world...there is a evil deceiver you know...the one actually responsible for all the evil going on in the world...we need to place the blame where it belongs...could God actually just put a stop to everything right here and now...absolutely...however, he knew each one of us before we were ever born...and if your a parent you will be able to relate to this...would you just call for your child's attention once, and if they didn't come when you called would you just say "oh well, forget it, they're not coming" and quit trying? Or would you wait until you gave them every chance? This life is gone in a blink of an eye...the precious souls that have died for his name sake, I promise are right by his side...just like my Mom and Dad all my family members that have passed
Oh, just for the record...you probably have no problem obeying laws of the land...but you also know if you disobey them there will be consequences...what Hateful law of the land would do that?? Just sayin...
The word "fear" in religion isn't meant to be that you walk around wondering when or if your going to get struck by lightening...it's pretty much the same with everyday living...we all have laws to abide by and when we don't abide by them then there will be consequences...but ultimately we have a choice to obey them or not...so do I "fear" God if I make a wrong decision? No...that's were love, grace and forgiveness comes into play...that was the sole reason Jesus dying on the cross....but if I continually doing the same thing when I know it's not right, then yes there will be consequences to pay
I love my Jesus Christ and this may shock you but I'm a very happy person...I'm not insane or a fake...being almost 50 yrs old, I know for a FACT from own personal experience that my relationship with God has made me a happier/peaceful/loving/forgiving woman...knowing your forgiven for sins that you've been carrying for years only logically makes you more happy....but that's the glory of free will, we all have the freedom of choice...just like with everyday choices, comes consequences...you have the choice to rob a bank or not, but if you do, you will ultimately pay the price for doing so...
Boy I don't know what God or religion you people have come in contact with, but my God is all loving and full of grace and sent Jesus Christ to bear all of your sins...
RE: Religious people are...
Nice talking to you too :)
