i wouldn't do anything differently. every experience i've had, decision i've made, path i've taken all led me to where i am in my life right now. i like who and what i am. i wouldn't change a thing.
almost any religion or no religion at all is fine with me. i do have to draw the line where religion becomes completely controlling of every thought or behavior, the rules are impossible to live by, or women are mistreated in any way because they are considered less valuable than men. other than that, i'm open to anything.
i personally don't believe in organized religion, although i do believe in a higher power, be it god or something else. i have no problem with other people's beliefs as long as they have no seriously negative impact on me.
sure, i'm open to any advice you (or anyone else) has to offer. please email me so you don't get in trouble for mentioning other sites out here. i'm very interested in whatever you have to say.
mine is sort of like the bear. i am a little shy but warm and cuddly. i have a mean streak when i need to and i'm very protective of my *cubs*. one of a nearly dying breed but still hanging in there.
mother's day yesterday with my daughter was wonderful.
today not so much. my daughter is still good but the day kinda sucks. after a few really cold days, it's suddenly 30 degrees warmer and the wind so strong it broke a tree in my yard. the storm we're expecting isn't even close yet. i wanted to sit outside awhile but i don't know where the tree will fall when it does and i sure don't want to be under it.
most people i've met in the north are so warm and friendly so i didn't really expect this from him. the rest of his family and his mates are nothing at all like this. his parents are still in love after nearly five decades together. his friends all treat their wives and girlfriends very well. according to the women, they still treat them well even when nobody is looking.
after three trips and six months abroad my savings is mostly depleted. the next time we would see each other would be for a fortnight in 2012. distance is a definite problem for some people. rotten attitudes don't help much either.
if airfares cost less or we sprouted wings it would be much easier to be together.
i love the smell of fresh cut grass. my neighbor mowed his lawn for the first time today. that and the wonderful fragrance of the lilacs outside my window and i felt like i was in heaven.
